yeah when i complaint to them why no TAC number like the other cards, they say in progress to improve the security and somehow fraud transaction for Amex is rare.

i beg to differ. within the same month, both my personal amex and corporate amex were used fraudulently overseas and online. the same month, both my team lead and managers, and a few colleagues all have fraudulent transactions in their corporate amex.

any of you guys use amex on maxis' pay by phone? i find the service to be a PITA. the phone interactive system is buggy, and i never got it to work.

do share if you have successfully used it without problems.

one thing to note, after they issue you a new card, they may have to link your new account number to the new 4 digit number in front of your new card.

my card was replaced due to fraud as well, and when i tried to make payment on airasia, it was declined. called MBB CS and was asked to give them the 4 digit number on the new card for them to "link" it again. tried again 10 minutes later, it was approved.

that 4 digit is the cvv for amex, similar to the 3 digit for visa/mastercard.

they will replace it automatically for you. of course they still want you to use their card, don't they?

as for historical records, all transactions will be ported over to the new card once it is visible in m2u, but it may take a few days for all the transactions to be visible.

as for police report, in my case, my card was NOT lost or stolen. the physical card is with me all the while. i've checked with the CS, they say you could file a police report, but it is not necessary.

How many days before the other Historical Transactions will re-appear ?

if i remember correctly, about 2 or 3 days once the new card is available to view in m2u.
