Happy just got my MBB2 yesterday from 1U centre
Btw wanna ask something.. the weekend 5% cashback, is it on ANYTHING? I planning to purchase a RM2k laptop with it, will i be rebated with the RM50 cap straightaway for this month? And will the shops charge me for the bank interests and is this legal for them? Also i just research for my Maxis bill.. looks like i can't pay Maxis bill via M2U to use my AMEX nor i can use the Maxis Easy Pay since they don't accept AMEX there.. so my only choices are to go Maxis Centres or make a call to 123 to use my AMEX on weekends? Advices and feedback are greatly appreciated guys |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ May 13 2013, 12:21 PM) Thanks for the answers man QUOTE(KTCY @ May 13 2013, 12:37 PM) Haha nice bro.. i went to apply around 2 something and i think waited roughly 2 hours while i go jalan jalan first hehe QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 13 2013, 12:50 PM) You can report to the bank if you can provide evidence that they transfer the interest to you. Btw wat's the point of reporting after they already charge me.. will they reimburse back to us also? But if i gonna swipe a RM2k laptop and if their charge is 2.75%, it would be paying RM55 extra Anyway, it is up to you. Some might just relent as they are okay to have the 5% and 5TP to cover the extra charge. QUOTE(KTCY @ May 13 2013, 01:55 PM) Haha yeah luckily i got mine too before they renovate.. else damn troublesome just to go KLCC again and the parking fee is just By the way, i swapped my AMEX on Sunday 11.30pm night in Esso.. now i checked my M2U statement, it's not shown for that transaction.. however i swiped another luncheon on Monday and it's already showing now.. does that mean Esso delayed their transaction back to AMEX which also means i will not enjoy the 5% weekend rebate?? |

QUOTE(David83 @ May 14 2013, 07:30 PM) Your transaction on Sunday 11.30pm night in Esso will still entitle to the rebate because the transaction date will determine if your transaction qualifies for the weekend rebate. The posting date is only came to action when the weekends fall at the end of month to determine whether the rebate should go to current month or next month. Oh i see.. thanks for the explanation AMEX transaction on Esso takes time to get posted. I believe it's due to batch processing. QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 14 2013, 07:31 PM) - Do you have the evidence? If not, then just consider it a lesson. I haven't swipe it for such transactions la.. just curious to how it's like - Will receive the rebate since it was swiped on a weekend, just that the operator has yet to report the transaction. |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 14 2013, 07:51 PM) Then you consider whether is it worth it to pay using amex. Ermm so 10k TP is roughly equivalent to RM50 yeah? Looks like it's still worth it right.. since considering that i might not use up all of the RM50 cap for the month.. perhaps only managed to use RM20 of it, then RM30 will be wasted too the next month come.. 5x TP for RM2000 ~ RM50 on weekend, you get another RM50 provided you still have your quota minus RM55, you only gain RM45. but bear in mind that now, your cashback quota is already used up so other purchases during weekend will not enjoy it anymore. but then, why let the shop 'profit'? QUOTE(KTCY @ May 15 2013, 07:28 AM) Haha i was curious about this too but when i played around in Maxis Easy Pay service.. i think we're supposed to register our credit card info online first.. then only you just need to call and not sure how they will proceed with the payment.. and i'm also thinking, what's the purpose of this? For people who don't have Internet at home and don't want to go service centres to pay? I'm complaining to Maxis to why they don't allow AMEX to be registered for the 'Add Source of Fund' in Easy Pay service! QUOTE(aiman04 @ May 15 2013, 11:10 AM) QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 15 2013, 11:27 AM) I'm quite confused here.. as i know, i couldn't find anywhere in M2U that we can use our Credit Cards to do payment.. all i saw was i can only do payment with my savings account.. |

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 17 2013, 11:13 AM) Yes I've paid via M2U using Maybankard 2 AMEX. I paid RM1.00 to TNB and it WAS NOT RECORDED as payment .... What gives ? I paid the balance later and it was recorded in the TNB Bill QUOTE(David83 @ May 17 2013, 12:47 PM) How do you guys add your AMEX credit card into your M2U and use it to pay bills? I've spent my time searching for it just now but can't find it, apart from the Add Non-Maybank Credit Card section? Where i see the selection was only Visa and Master Can use AMEX to pay via M2U to Maxis and GE? |

QUOTE(tbheng @ May 18 2013, 09:10 AM) Add Non-Maybank CC is for CC not issued by MBB. Amex is issued by MBB. Yeah both are already linked to my M2U.. i found out already after tried clicking to pay some of the bills.. now only know that some payments will be mostly from Savings account only while some have options to choose CC.. initially thought i need to link my CC manually for payment purpose.. thanks anyway Is your Amex cc links to your M2U? If it is linked, when you are at bill payment, you will see Amex cc appear as one of the pay "From Account" for those payee accepting Amex. Otherwise you need to call CS or walk in to branch to link your Amex into your M2U. QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ May 18 2013, 11:42 AM) GE = Great Eastern bro Btw, tried most of the Insurance payments and i only see Tokio Marine Life can pay by using both CC.. Etiqa Life can use dunno Visa or Master but cant use AMEX.. while most others only can pay directly from savings account Also how about hardcopy statements? I heard from the girl said if we're receiving statements in M2U then no hardcopy, if got hardcopy then M2U cannot view, cannot have both? Cos for the first few statements hopefully to get hardcopies to get some clearer understanding.. and how do u know when is your first payment due date? It's not written in my M2U, just stated N/A |

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ May 20 2013, 03:44 PM) it should be free..and yes..it's fast and smooth, the part i like is that you don't even have to interact with human CS Hahaha how come most of us hate talking to human CS? Is it cos everyone is lazy to always answer verification questions QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 20 2013, 04:06 PM) yes, cannot have both. In that case, just choose the hardcopy for the first several months and then request to change to e-statement. if your card is still new, it will not show the due date in M2U yet. Need to wait for the 1st statement to be generated aand then you can view it. Ermm if im not mistaken the girl told me currently the system showed that im on Paper but i can still see simple transactions like transaction history in M2U.. i guess these can still be seen in M2U and what they are referring is the detailed statement right? Is there any fee charged for Paper also? Or if u go paperless then they give you discount like Maxis RM5 waived haha.. im just worried that i don't know when is my due date and late to make payment.. will they like send sms notification to customers to remind about payment too? |
