Sorry, i need to make a correction. From 1st post:

Effective 1st January 2013 - All transactions relating to government, insurance and education will only earn 2X TP with the Maybankard 2 American Express This means our assessments bills in 2013 will only earn us 2X Treats Points with the Maybankard 2 AMEX But if we plan properly, we still can earn 5% cash back on weekends

My new AMEX card is listed in my Maybank2U this morning.
All historical transactions are gone.... I've my own records, don't care much. It was auto-linked for me.

Now need to wait for card delivery (please arrive before Friday)
*
So basically once you get the call from Maybank, you just raise a dispute. Do you have to request for the new card or it is automatically replaced for you? No police report needed? Need to start to know the procedure.

Expected in March.

I dont think so. It is not worthwhile to 'tarnish' AMEX's brand with just 3 million tongue.gif

Hi got a very noob question here.
If I got credit card of Bank A (eg. OCBC) and I only got Bank B account (eg. Maybank), and I pay the outstanding amount of credit card Bank A using Bank B, is there any extra charge imposed?
*
Yes, refer to this thread for info.

Sifus, I have got a question on statement balance and interest..

For example, lets say my February statement balance is RM500 in total...

So when comes March, I will need to clear the balance within 20 days so I won't get any interest charged.. However, let's say in the month of March, I swipe 1k, and then only clear 500 (statement balance), will I still be charged interest? Or the 1k is calculated for month of March?

Statement balance (February) = 500
March swipe amount = 1000
Outstanding balance = 500 (Feb) + 1000

After clearing statement balance = 1000 (outstanding balance)

So as long as I clear 500, I won't be charged interest, doesn't matter the amount I swipe in March? Or I must clear ALL the outstanding balance to be exempted from the interest? Cause statement balance doesn't reset even after I pay the balance
*
Always refer to the due date. Statement balance cleared before due date = no interest charge.

Outstanding balance = statement balance + any current transaction (billed in next month's statement).

A letter?
I just received a call from Maybank CS. My Amex is being fraud used for online transaction.
Damn, I just swiped my card on Friday for a cup of coffee. Never use my card on Saturday.
Then Sunday got a call from CS...

CS said that new card will be sent to me by Thursday.
*
Can share the detail (name or store or website) of the online transaction?

wow at least it's the other way round, i got 2 separate times of frauds since Dec 2012 and i had to call them up and fill up the fraud form. i think i was the earliest victims until Mbb and blacklisted them since many had been victimized .
*
You mean you or MBB already blacklist them? I am wondering if it is possible for a customer to request the bank to blacklist the company and not allow any transaction using his/her card. In this case, KARMALOOP has been reported several times here and it is a hassle to go through all the steps. Something like preemptive measure.

Just visited maybankard.net and noticed that voucher for Parkson and Metrojaya is redeem "On the Spot".

Does it mean that I'm not required to pay a visit to Maybankard centre and just use my treatpoint at Parkson/Metrojaya payment counter?
*
You need to head to the Customer Service counter to redeem.

I think we need to get Bank Negara's attention by cc the report to them. Looks like Maybank is not able to totally solve this problem despite all these cases going on for weeks.

since behind that 3 number is quite critical, why not just use 1 sticker(cannot see thru) just to stick on these number "?
ppl that handle the card for payment also cannot see the number ..
*
For Amex, the security number is the 4 digits (front side of the card)
