applied twice for this card. 1 time at 1u card centre. 1 time online. both rejected. then i applied for ocbc titanium and was approved. still sad because cannot get this card lol

i submitted more documents than when applying for uob and ocbc. even gave bank statements for prove. at 1U the person said because i have a car loan. for the online application, the telesales person kept asking whether i have any banking facility with maybank,which i dont. n then later rejected too. do i really need to have an account or loan with maybank for them to approve?

i just found out from CS that there is RM50 penalty for card replacement that require to change card number, like due lost or stolen.

FOC for replacement card with same card number due to chipset / problem to detect it.

Is a fee. This fee is stated in your T&C. Statement will state it as "Card Replacement Fee".
Card renewal fees is free but for change of card / card lost or stolen, this fee will be imposed. Don't be too quick to bash the bank, other banks have similar practices too like UOB.

I won't be charged for interest?

so the only way to avoid interest is to pay the amount in statement balance

am I right?

I even set reminder on my calendar each month 
however if I'm certain I will be getting maximum cash rebate
can I pay the total amount - RM50  without afraid of being charged interest?
as my due date is 26th but I heard rebate is usually 1s or 2nd of the next month
