U r probably the 6th or 7th karmaloop victim in this tread. I wonder how this syndicate obtain Amex card member's details.
If Amex still not adopting SMS TAC security measure, the fraudulent online transactions will keep happening.

To reduce the risk, I would never use Amex for all online transactions which requires keying in credit card details.

I think there was a case where that person had never used his AMEX for any online transaction before and yet he was the victim of karmaloop scam. therefore i dont think it's correct to assume by not doing any online transaction, you are safe from the scam.

We have many reported Amex fraudulent online transactions in this thread and card members have no clue whatsoever how the CC details leaked out.
Avoid using Amex card for online transactions is the best card member can do to reduce risks albeit no full proof.

i re-tried the maxis pay by phone yesterday..(i did it previously but failed)

re-register my amex card on the website, give them a call, all computerizsed with no interaction with human, and paid my bill with amex on sunday slightly before noon..

today check m2u it's transaction and posting date is on sunday...

mbb 2 cards is now my fave card over ocbc titanium

yup...normal number 123, please register ur card before calling them up...once u register, u can't see ur card details on the site, so there might be a bit confusion on whether u've sucessfully registered. but after register, just give them a call

Well.... HLB WISE gets me 10% and can pay any day

didn't apply HLB as did not suit my spending patterns

as need 10 transactions all over rm50..kinda hard..if i were to use other cards as well..kinda small spender ..

Yeah both are already linked to my M2U.. i found out already after tried clicking to pay some of the bills.. now only know that some payments will be mostly from Savings account only while some have options to choose CC.. initially thought i need to link my CC manually for payment purpose.. thanks anyway

Btw, tried most of the Insurance payments and i only see Tokio Marine Life can pay by using both CC.. Etiqa Life can use dunno Visa or Master but cant use AMEX.. while most others only can pay directly from savings account

Also how about hardcopy statements? I heard from the girl said if we're receiving statements in M2U then no hardcopy, if got hardcopy then M2U cannot view, cannot have both? Cos for the first few statements hopefully to get hardcopies to get some clearer understanding.. and how do u know when is your first payment due date? It's not written in my M2U, just stated N/A
