if he need 5second to remember 4digit number..
then how long does he need to remember 16digit number?
the receipt does not contain your 16digit number anyway..

i think you over reacted on this case...

i would always choose to use Amex if merchant accepts.
the exchange rate doesn't differ too much

Wanna ask,if some shop required 2-3% charges when using cc,is that reasonable?i heard my frenz said, bank charged the shop, then the shop charged us,but not every shop charged their customers..
*
my opinion is that if that shop is offering really low price for the product you're purchasing then 2-3% charge is fine.
also if its those small shops or self owned business, they're surely going to charge you for using card

a) here, let me G it 4u

b. Many many years ago, it takes about 3-4 weeks to deliver a set of kitchen pots to my home.

c. Done with MBB-2-Visa for lelong, dealwatch, etc. Compare to direct cash transfer, some will wait for 1-2 days for the CC to clear first before send out.
*
c. he is referring to chargeback, not normal transaction

I assume my application for MaybanKards 2 Cards was successful since it is now showing on my M2U. I submitted my application through email, but receive no calls from them.

By the way, anyone here using Amex for Prudential auto debit? If yes, also 5x TP right?

Thanks.

i believe it has been revised to 2X only starting 1 Jan 2013

Say for example my statement date is on every 1st of the month.
I make a transaction on 1st February, will that transaction be billed under current statement or next statement?

Depend on posting date.

Let say your statement date is 1 of every month. You made a transaction on 1 February. If the posting date is 1 February, it will appear in 1 February statement. If the posting date is 2 February or so on, it will appear in 1 March statement.
*
thanks for the clarification.

Interested to apply too if accepted.

It is possible, but instead of walking into card centre you need to go to branch

The 2 transactions have been posted at M2U, no sms alert after 2 days. My transaction today did not trigger SMS alert as well, so it is 3 times in a row. A formal complain has been forwarded to Maybank and cc to Bank Negara, for the 3rd times since the policy.
*
if you didnt get the sms alert right after your transaction, you wont receive it already.
its a good move that you contacted Maybank for it
