Thanks matkela for the confirmation. I'm on partial setup and only got 2 back. Almost got charged the original non-GB price as well. Immediately after installation it was noticeably a firmer ride. No sound yet so far but I have not fully tested it yet. What I did notice was that when I roll slowly at say 20km/h and then jam the brakes, I felt the car slightly dive, squat, dive, squat, dive, stop. If you get what I mean. I'm not sure if I was delusional, hehe. Gonna do more tests after this. Also, is this wrapper here to stay for good?

me got back the rear stock abs only as the front they cut the bracket off n welded it to their abs to support stock spring... our rear is not inverted monotube only front is... padan muka...

I think everyone who are in the TITAN GB should know what they are in for. For an example:

1- Those going for Partial Setup should know that your front abs will have to be sacrificed since they will have to cut and remove your coil mounting base to be welded on the TITAN abs. ***Don't make a fuss, you made the decision to stick with the current springs right?

2- YES, from what has been 'analyzed' the rears aren't Inverted

3- If you decided to fix them TITANs on any given days/dates, ENSURE you have called them up earlier (A few days in advance) and have stated clearly that you are coming to get the installation done. ENSURE that the abs are prep'ed based on your requirements.

4- IT'S BEST to go as early as possible, say 9.00am when they open so that you get the first que in the bay.

Alternatively, read of MY EXPERIENCE at TITAN.

Mate...I understand your frustrations and disgruntles. I have been IN & OUT of TITAN countless of times and each time I pay them a visit, I spend a minimum of 6-10 hours. Heck, I've even left my car there for 3 days for them to solve the problems....and guess what, they still haven't solved my problems yet.

I believe to a certain level about them not listening to their customers on complaints and etc BUT believe me when I say this, they will listen to you if you know how to talk to them. Work with them and not let them work it out for you. I have managed to solve say about 70% of my problems by 'Working with Them'.

YES, there are issues with the quality of materials being used. It's an very intricate & sensitive subject to discuss about and am not gonna do so on a open forum BUT steps are being made to improve on this. I know that because my ride is now the sort off 'test unit' for their new prototype parts and design.

I still believe things will get better because of the countless of people on TITANs that I have met thus far. People who have been on TITANs between 2-5 years all shared the same frustrations in the beginning but have now all settled in with their shocks. Having custom-made shocks on your ride entails to trial and error. It is not some mass produced product and racked up the shelves. So give it a lil' more time.

A BIG YES on the fact that they HAVE to solve these issues because they have got it right in their other produces thus they must oblige to the reality of solving the problems for those with it.

I am not sure about you but I am VERY VERY SATISFIED with the performance of the shocks. It's an absolute joy and I love how my ride handles now. I have no complaints against how the shocks perform. It's again an absolute joy for me with the exceptions of the 'Sound of Music' that comes along with it.

Sounds like Titan still cannot find the answer.

FYI, i went twice after installation to retune. The thud gug glug still around after some distance travelled. The funny thing is, after Titan reset, short while only less sound.

It could be because of the rear pistons. Am not sure which version pistons are in your shocks.

..but then again that's if its the same sound/problem that others faced as well. Can't tell till have tested your ride.

Comfort ride please stay with stock.. stock suspension + cc5 tyre is the best comfort

Thanx William. I am taking ur advice in my stride too. I am buying some more time, in the sense that i will wait n see what Berzerker and Blursquid will update after they did on their cars. I know those 2 gentlemen will kindly report.

You were lucky that WL actually took time to reply to your text messages (tho' it was just simple arse OK). I rarely get replies to the texts I send to him prior to going down to Titan for GOD knows what the 36th time or something next.

I do agree and understand your frustration on the wasted time, energy & petrol and even toll. I share the same frustration as well but these are things that comes along with having 'custom' stuffs fitted on ones ride.

I have a long list of experiences at Titan that I may be able to share but that might just take too much space.

Oh ya, by the way and not in the mood to ruin your knack BUT you CAN'T talk to them let alone work together with them on the theories of Compression & Rebound or that polyurethane is better than rubber. They won't be able to understand the theoretical explanation behind it.

I think I'm having the same setup as Xai now IINM. They replaced the pistons and the noise is negligible now. It is not audible with the sound system on soft volume and aircond on. Turn off everything and let the car roll the noise sounded very faint, like muffled. WL did not acknowledge this faint noise but I'm actually quite happy with this setup already and will stick with these abs until it's time to service to find out if they have worked out a resolution yet. I must say when given the chance, UR and WL will listen to my feedback and attempt to resolve/mitigate the issue as Xai said.
