QUOTE(Flatscan @ Jun 25 2008, 03:58 PM) Since its been raining lately, be ready to bring some anti-leech agent like detol or rubbing alcohol. Just a drop and and leeches rolls over! And if you're really afraid of leeches dont camp or stay so long at Kem Pakat, they dont call it Leech Camp for nothin. "leeches can get through pants and even socks"......, so need to wear how many underwear to protect? Its really advisable to wear long pants in Nuang as trail has may shrubs and bushes that may scar your flawless legs. But still, leeches can get through pants and even socks! So girls, wear cycling pants or thights under your trekking pants :-D Just do some leech check once in while and you'll be fine. I camp before just wear long pant long sleeve then no problem... maybe Nuang pajat is stronger type? |

QUOTE(enjoylife @ Jun 26 2008, 11:53 PM) erm...if we wan to start to hike at 7am, i think we should gather up early. if my memory serves me right, it's still a long way to go after the first toll, provided we're not familiar with the route. Ya agree with you, just meet at the Petronas station (Petronas), easier for me also(some more can buy lunch from the petronas there after Plaza Phoenix, you'll find a Petronas Station on your left hand side. Perhaps we meet up there at 6am? then you all need not to turn in Leisure Mall. wat u all think? This post has been edited by popcorn513: Jun 27 2008, 11:07 AM |

Ok thanks for you all, will get them tran properly before let them go to Nuang next time, really don play play with Nuang lor
The trip to complete in 10 hours (up down the peak) i suppose should have some stamina and courage only able to complete it. Look at them skidding going down the hill i really want to laugh (pity also lar...) Yes really agree that besides physically strong we must have the mentality fit as well to complete the trip and to face the unexpected rain. (I talk to enjoylife that want to experience raining forest trekkin, after 30mins it really rain Luckily all are safe now and back to normal life. (My friend said saw a centipede besides when falling down, really scary) |
