ah pak san suitable for beginner.
Added on June 14, 2008, 7:48 pm QUOTE(enjoylife @ Jun 13 2008, 09:07 PM) ah pak shan is not high...it doesn't require climbing...but the route can be long and stamina-consuming...it's a good workout place for training stamina... so far still have no chance to meet any wild animal yet, haha...u can go anytime as there're lotsa trees there that block most of the sunlight. it has 6 levels, level 1 to 3 are more challenging where the ascent is steep. From level 4 to 6 is slight easy as the route is becoming not that steep and it's best to do trail running there. Nearby level 5, there's a refreshing mini waterfall, around 30 mins walking distance away. If u go beyond level 6, u will end up a small hill peak called Saga hill. i bumped into a white color wildboar few days back while on my way to Saga hill. First time encountered wild animal during hiking, it did scare me and luckily it didnt charge at me This post has been edited by felixcfk: Jun 14 2008, 07:48 PM |

Datuk is more easier compare with Nuang. But eveybody has to pay the entry fee RM3. And the trail is more shorter...after you come down from summit, you all maybe can go PEDAS there to play hot water...
