QUOTE(^monsieur^ @ Apr 3 2006, 04:04 PM) well, i kindda like the challenge. transtitiwangsa is tough too. and yes, it makes me lost some weight, though i'm skinny. lol.. that's what i heard about trans titiwangsa also. a friend of mine went there during the dry period and they were having a hell of a time conserving enough water. a lot of spots which were known as water points were dry. imagine drinking two bottle cap at night for 2 night straight as for tahan, i don't recommend you or anybody for that matter to go there during raining season. it's hell i tell you. we spent the whole day from sg putih camp to sg teku camp which on normal day will took you about 4 - 5 hrs hike/walk. |

QUOTE(F33L3Lik3Hom3 @ Apr 3 2006, 09:06 PM) try to avoid going there during raining season. you can't see a thing and the chill would really affect your endurance/energy/spirit.i guess june - august would be the best period to go there. don't worry about food or drinks there. they got a restaurant at gunting lagadan (or was it the other camp?). make sure you got enough money though! i was charged RM4.00 for a cup of hot milo |
