I PMed him; expressing my interest in his monitor and asking him to PM me his contact so i can call him to settle it. No response. Fair enough. As a last course of action; I PMed him this afternoon; giving him my contact details and asking him to contact me to settle the deal; if he's interested. The following are SMS conversations TODAY(15/3/2006) and the timeline:


6.45pm: cikokui : Are you interested in the monitor? COD tonight if confirm.
my reply: OK. What time and where? Is tomorrow alright?
cikokui : Tonight is better. 9@Projet Cheras.
my reply: OK. Can we do COD anywhere else?
cikokui : Cheras better tonight. Reply my SMS if confirm as have only 0.20
credit.

So I called cikokui; and negotiated to do the COD deal somewhere else since i was not familiar with Cheras. Agreed to do the deal at 9@Kesas Awan Besar rest area. Confirmed the deal. The following are following SMS conversations and the timeline:

8.30pm: cikokui : Sorry bro. Cannot deal the monitor with you. Have confirmed
the deal with someone else who can COD earlier than you.

my reply: No prob then. But i'll post this on the forum since already
confirmed with you earlier.
cikokui : O realy. Anything la. I tak salah. So do whatever u want. Hehe.

cikokui : And fyi. B4 u. There are 6 ppl i deal bout this monitor. But they
accept and respect my decision. Maybe they r older than u la. U so
childish.

I left my house at 8.20 and was on the way to Kesas already. And I promised my friend the monitor tonight. At this point; i don't see the point of replying the SMS. So after dinner and everything; I came back, logged on; and in my PM is this:

bro, u said u want to report to forum? under what reason? i cheat you ka? u wait but i didnt show up ka? but anyway... whatver la bro... i dont care.. ppl will know which one is in rite and which one is think he is rite. chow...

I wanted to post this post into the thread selling the monitor; but it was closed already. I accept his decision; just not the way he did it; since it seemed unprofessional to me. True; i may not be as old as the other ppl he was dealing with and i may be childish; but; I work and service clients as a personal business for a living, and I don't remember doing something like this to anyone of them.

Just to warn other people my experience with cikokui. No offence intended; just trying to be as objective as possible.

I will PM cikokui as well; notifying him of this thread.

For someone who says that it is your style and what's my problem, you sure are taking this seriously. If this is your style, accept your consequence lorr.

True; you chose a higher offer; it's your right. I'm not saying otherwise. But if I feel offended 'cause of how you chose to inform me, then it's my right as well.

Like you said; "this is busines. i dunt have to jaga hati org la bro. " I can't agree more. So i'm just telling other people my experience. Nothing more; nothing less.

True; if i make mistakes, my boss will sack me. But i don't work for people; and i do my own business as well.

Anyway; i'm not trying to make people think negative about you. You're doing that yourself by the replies you're giving. I'm just being objective and saying my experience with you.

If you take offence with what i say; FIX it. Change your style lar. Otherwise; keep replying like that; and it'll show people your true character.

To me; the case is closed. I'm looking for another monitor. But I DID tell you i'll post what happened in the forum. Isn't that my right? If that's being sensitive; I would rather be called sensitive to help inform other people of my experience.



Ermm; You confirmed the deal with me. I made a promise to my customer i'll send him the monitor tonight. You broke your promise and made my customer not happy with me. So; i've got to work harder to make him happy. So; what am I supposed to feel with you? Smile and pretend nothing happened?

As for making you look bad to people; i think people judge how other people respond to situations before making their mind up. Question is; HOW ARE YOU MAKING YOURSELF LOOK TO OTHER PEOPLE?

To prevent a flaming war and anything else, i'll not reply to his posts in this thread.

My original intent is to inform what happened. Nothing more; nothing less. If cikokui wants to tell ppl his side of the story; it's his right. I'm just enforcing my right. Other people who will read both stories will then decide how they want to treat cikokui as well as myself.

Alright; I'll debate this point with you. First and foremost, I PMed you regarding this monitor 2 days ago and when i requested your contact details; you delayed it for 1 day and up until yesterday afternoon, no PM from you with your contact details. Up until the point when i gave up yesterday and i gave you my contact details. And you only SMSed me that evening.

If that means I dealt with you last minute, i don't know what to say. All I can say is that I tried my best to deal with you earlier.
