If it is a rubber one then i suggest u dun take this. even soft cover also difficult to take out from my pant now.
*
this is actually sorta true. even worst when your pants are tight, but even if its not, its difficult cos of the friction between the two materials.
thats sorta why i always resort to smoother materials. but smoother also means its hard casings. unsure.gif

any idea?? where to find tis cool thing

http://www.liquipel.com
*
was reading up about it earlier. seems pretty impressive.
but it wud be good if we can hear reviews from anyone here that has tried it personally.

QUOTE(Mini Nici @ Jan 10 2013, 09:43 PM)
Think I saw it too. RM30 per pack if not mistaken.
*
bro i dont think its that cheap. besides, i dont think its sold in packs?
it has got to go thru certain process to 'seal' your phone.
mayb the one you saw is something else.

i saw liquipel being sold during the last pc fair for RM140 per phone, IIRC.

Can u share with us what actually they did to the phone?

Do they opened it? Will it become scratch resistance as well ?
*
searched it on youtube before. they put the phone into an air tight container. den suck all the air out. den some vapor is introduced into the container, filling every perimeter of the phone. den the vapor is absorbed out, and put to room pressure, den the phone is taken out.

some nano molecule technology.

not sure whether its scratch proof or not.

BUT, there are some saying that liquipel does not work when they tried submerging their phone into water. shocking.gif
so test at your own risk guys.

this is quite misleading. the apple logo wudnt be glowing like this. unsure.gif so overall, the casing wudnt b as appealing? and not to mention kinda pricey as well.

Anyone here know where I can get Switcheasy Nude for iPhone 5? Would like to try that one smile.gif

i think this is a pretty minimalist and good looking casing. but not sure if it protects the bottom part of the phone. shud b pretty common. try finding in any machines outlet?

I use a lot bumper case, but some case can't fit big headphone jack because some bumper headphone jack too small.

Any shop sell this type of cable? 3.5 mm slim jack .

was using one of the casing from elementcase for my iPhone4 and when i bought my headphones from jaben (ss15), they gave me this for free. its exactly this length, which was really convenient too. perhaps try asking headphones stores, they shud have it with them.

its just the red part hanging to the phone . huhu , can see clearly

right. just wanted to make sure. it could be some sort of transparent material for the parts that arent red.

guess it does protect every part of the phone except for the front screen?

using my phone naked now, literally. not even screen protector. cos going to get a replacement unit in these few coming days.

i gotta say its a different sensation. screen's super clear, and phone grips the way it should. too bad we are not exactly 'sposed' to use it naked on normal terms. sad.gif

been using it naked for more than a month now, the back plate is scratched, especially the top and bottom plastic part. not the mentioned the paint on the side bevel has been coming off quite severely. did not drop this phone before. just putting into pocket and on the table.

hey sifus, really in need of help here.

ok i went to machines sunway pyramid about 3weeks ago, and i saw this casing. its full black, hard casing, that protects the whole phone. has appropriate openings, but it covers the whole phone. back of the phone is full black, i think with no wordings. think it only comes in black and white when i checked it out.

the packaging for the casing is transparent rounded plastic on the front.

think this is sold at all machines. anyone has any idea what casing, or even brand that is?

it wud be really helpful. notworthy.gif

power support air jacket

they have clear and smoke clear versions as well. i used to use the clear smoke version, but one downside to this case is it collects dust around the chamfer edge easily.

i just want something that will wrap the whole phone (bottom and top) and looks minimal. this is perfect. thanks heaps.

im looking to order it online. if im in malaysia i wud get it straight from machines ad. problem is im not malaysia.

thanks bro.
upon google-ing the case, it brought me to the ide-home website. but it seems like they have ran out of stock for the particular case. will try looking elsewhere. no chance there are fakes for this right?

btw, more pictures (the transparent one) for those that are also interested in this case. blush.gif

i'm using it now. bought last month at Machines KLCC. RM138. it comes with front screen protector which is very good in quality coz no scratch after a month considering i always change my sp before this.
*
perfect. thanks to know bro.
just ordered last night from an reputable eBay seller. apparently will be getting it by this week or early next week.

im looking for something minimal and offers decent protection and i think this casing caters to my need perfectly.

i did read on some review that the back gets smudge easily? and paint does come off after awhile. any issue of that sort for you bro?

so the authenticity is determined by whether you get the SP included in the packaging?
now accumulating money to get the ronin black edition. if everything goes well, shud b able to get it sometime next week.
too tempting already hahha.

btw if you dont mind me asking, why are you selling the cny edition? not gonna use it for your own set?

been using the power support air jacket for a few days now. noticed that the volume buttons are quite difficult to be reached. the power button's ohkay but i wish they had something to fill in the volume button to make it easier to press.

no complains in terms of protection + grip + the texture of it.

Actually, iPhone 5 quite durable
I have a view on demo unit which is naked on store
I took sometimes to check the condition & I find no scratches
*
well you cant exactly judge from the condition of the iPhones 5 that are on the display on shelves. they dont exactly go thru everyday scenarios.

i have used my phone naked before this for 3 months. and even without dropping or abusing, there are quite alot of scratches on the phone, even the matte surface on the back.

Seriously? When i on my internship for 3months, i ran almost all machine, they did not come bookbook case for iphone 5, they only come for macbook PRO T_T Maybe i no luck, SADDD !!!! But i dint went tropicana one, mine to share which machine you go? and PRICE? And from your statement:
"2) It does not have a earpiece opening on the cover which make taking calls difficult , if you flip the cover to the back it will exposed your cards, ID..etc.which is not elegant"

erk, i thought nothing cover the earpiece one for iphone 5...
*
i think by earpiece he meant the one that you put against your ear when on a call, the one on top of the screen, not the headphone jack below the phone.
i think havin an opening on the outside cover of the case would be convenient for you to answer calls without flapping open the case. but it also need to have an opening where the slider is for you to do that slide action on the screen to answer the call.
