Iron Man 3 Gets Alternate Version in China
Additional Scenes Specifically for Chinese Viewers



Just when we had accustomed to the whole Extended Cut/Director's Cut and Unrated release scenario in the home video sector and had also accepted that Asian productions were often shortened for the western markets, Hollywood starts to supply Asia with special versions of some top movies.

Even though there were some earlier cases (e.g. Kill Bill) but the driving force there was much rather the director's love for a country and not commercial interests. But with the Chinese market growing as fast as never before and an audience that takes the biggest Hollywood crap and cheers to it, a new development can be witnessed. Co-productions with China, in China or tailored to China arise. That is partly due to the quota that restricts the number of foreign productions that are allowed to be shown in Chinese cinemas per year, so why not take the Asian money. But Looper already showed that one is able to offer the Chinese even a little more than that, namely a special version of the film that offers (apart from some censorship) some additional material that was deemed too lenghty by US test audiences.

Iron Man 3 then will feature some additional scenes in its Chinese cut, as well, and they will be exclusive for that market. The US and other countries will miss out on material that is called "bonus scenes" by Marvel. Some of them feature the famous actress Fan Bingbing and were specially produced for the Chinese market. The international cut of the movie features scenes in China, as well, but not as many.

Iron Man 3 starts in US theaters on May 3rd, 2013, the UK has it on Apil 26th, 2013.

Yesterday, I just requested a replacement copy from Amazon US for this movie 3D title. Because the 2D can't load/detect in my BD player.

My first purchase from Amazon UK just arrived today.

My house have a pos box made from 'concrete simen'. Posman always letak my parcel inside. IF my parcel lebih besar dari my pos box, they past my parcel 'by hand'

I guess I don't have much choice la since my post box opening only big enough for documents.

Its pretty normal for standard shipping  lol.  my fren's apple gadget which ordered from oficial site aso left outside the gate only.  thank god it was still there when he comes bak fr work.
