Depends.
Sometime I receive it exactly on the day itself as per the estimation date.
Sometime I even receive ahead of schedule.
But the latest order been late for 10 days now & another one 7 days.
Still waiting for both. sad.gif

The movie is typically filmed as 24fps. This is mainly done to save film.

Also, the main issue is also that HDMI 1.4 does not support 1080p/60 as yet. HDMI 2.0 will support 1080p/60p.

sorry I miss out notworthy.gif

So the reason I ask because I wanted to know

Film maker purposely save space and help those LCD manufacturer , leaving a space for LCD TV t o have extra features like "Motion ( Soap opera ) " to advance some tech to sell out the LCD at higher price ?

There are dual layer blu ray , XL 3 and 4 layer but they wanted to save space .That's why having those 24fps.

About the HDMI , why do they delay the release date for HDMI 2.0 ? HDMI 1.4 May 28, 2009 only comes out with HDMI 2.0 September 4, 2013 ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI
Need 4 years to have extra 30fps technology ? shakehead.gif Having other purpose ?

Correct me if I am wrong.Btw , years back manufacturer price fixing all the LCD TV too. unsure.gif

No its nothing to do with what u said.

1stly, 24fps was decided for a number of reasons. I believe they tested various framerates that could mimic natural motion and 24fps was deemed as the minimum required to capture film while maintaining the look desired. The savings is during film capture not for storage onto disc.

Now for consumer media requirement, for the longest time the medium was DVD which maxed out at 8GB. With HD-DVD it was 30GB, BD was 50GB. Of course, to preserve the original frame rate that capture was done, the medium is also delivered in 24fps.

HDMI.org consists of a few members and these things take time....
