QUOTE Rozen Maiden Confirmed to Restart in Young Jump Mag This year's 17th issue (on sale on March 27) of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine will confirm the relaunch of Peach-Pit's Rozen Maiden manga in the 20th issue (on sale on April 17). Peach-Pit, the pair of manga creators behind DearS, Shugo Chara!, and Zombie-Loan, just published a one-shot Rozen Maiden spinoff called "Shōjo no Tsukuri-kata" ("How to make a girl") in the 16th issue, which was released on March 19. Young Jump's special announcement will promise the return of the Gothic-Lolita-influenced Rozen Maiden title in "1,814,400 seconds" (21 days). Rozen Maiden had run in Gentosha's rival Monthly Comic Birz magazine. However, Peach-Pit announced in December of 2006 that the manga would go on hiatus due to issues on "the editorial department's side." Tokyopop will published the eighth compiled volume - the abbreviated last volume from Gentosha - on May 13. |
