Anyone know the technique of checking tiles?

Was visiting a colleague house @ USJ Height and he mentioned about the list of defects - summary is that anything that can go wrong with the house goes wrong.

Anyway he was working with a tile manufacturer thus manage to get the developer to change >30% of the tiles. Some of the neighbour had to suffer wavy / tiles popping up after 3 years. Yes the developer (Sime Darby) rectify it later but imagine the pain (hacking and dust) after you move in.

Just use a long rod (some prefer a plastic hammer but its tiring in checking the tiles) knock on the tiles and hear any hollow sound pop up.

If yes, then better marked the tiles as defective.

How's the tiles on your unit?bugger i feel like these days the developers attitude rly sell first worry later.

Noted - i do not have any neighbour on one side biggrin.gif

Don't think anyone would be so daring to start renovating without approval.

Have u tried the access? from rawang toll to Damansara toll or Duta toll, merely 14 mins drives.
If ppl can accept Bandar Rimbayu, or Ecohill @ Semenyir, i dont see any reasons why this new township of Emerald/Anggun is unacceptable.
*
bro during peak hour?

i am working in Mutiara Damansara and sometimes i travel up north the jam seems quite bad especially the Sg Buloh stretch.

My fair price to offer is 800k. I know its less than the second developer release, but, its just my opinion.
*
Are u making an offer or what?

Anyone try rawang to Kota damansara and rawang to ara damansara? What is the tol fees and traffic condition during peak hour?
*
don't think you will have issue going back - only in the morning near Sg Buloh intersection.

For Kota Damansara I would expect at least an hour to reach.

Been stuck @ plus starting from sg. buloh ard 4.30pm (weekday), took me almost 1 hr to reach damansara toll.

If u exit from sg buloh toll to bandar utama, only 30 minutes from toll.
*
Exit sungai buloh will come out from back of kota damansara right?Have always wondered how it link up from Sg Buloh to K. Damansara.

After exit sg. buloh toll, just takes the jln kuala selangor  ahead until u reached the junction heading to sri damansara / desa park city / bandar manjalara , u will be joining back LDP and from there can go to kota d'sara n the rest of the place.

Its abit far by can skip the q starting from sg buloh to subang.
*
Seems abit far this route as LDP traffic is kinda bad too.

From google map i see that you can opt for Jalan Sungai Buloh which link to the back end of Kota Damansara - have you tried?
