I don't think Allen or anyone else should be slated for not performing. except if they are like Joe Cole where he barely contributes.
Allen is a good player suffering a dip in form. I believe different game needs different players. Not many players can perform consistently forever. Downing is starting to show some form perhaps because he did not complain even when he is asked to play LB. I feel the extra defensive duties given to him previously helped him to be better. Overall, Liverpool played almost as usual but better at the final third compared to other games. Although Fulham was crap for 80 minutes or so. |

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Dec 28 2012, 01:51 PM) theSun newspaper talk very little when we won 4-0 against Fulham. But today the whole back page coz we lost to Stoke ...haih. sometimes, what you read from the media, just discard it after reading. Most of the time they just blow everything out of proportion to get the readers. Plus, sometimes i think most of the writers are ANTI Liverpool. When we win, small short article..when we lose, Woah, end of the world for Liverpool..bla bla.. So just read and delete it from your mind afterwards.. IMO, playing Stoke at Brittania is Not easy. I think most teams will agree. |

QUOTE(flix @ Dec 28 2012, 11:16 AM) Jonjo Shelvey deleted his Twitter account because he was abused by Liverpool fans for not performing during the past few games. I feel sorry for that boy. Some of these so called fans are just trouble makers. Whatever happens, they will always be there to find fault in the team. If we win 1-0 they will say we can't score.. If we win 3-2, they will say, the defence very shaky. If we win 5-0, there will find the guy who perform not so well and bash him..Those who threw insults at him should feel ashamed of themselves. Totally disgusted to know there are such fans around. |

QUOTE(rushmode @ Dec 28 2012, 03:03 PM) Stevie is whole another level when he's Shelvey's age. Its very hard to find a talent and loyalty like he has nowadays.. My support for BR will end if he can't get the team to beat QPR this week.. My friends who are gooner's fans already started to bark now.. my whatsapp full with their banters. Couldn't counter them much. Please don't get beat up by QPR this week.. |

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Dec 28 2012, 03:31 PM) We are a mid table team in quality YES but it shouldnt stop the players from having the Barcelona mentality in them. Yeah..Back then we had Traore and Biscan..Not exactly world class but i guess they have the heart. We didn't matched and was nowhere near AC Milan's quality in 2005 in CL final. When it comes to willpower and mental strength, we were miles ahead of them. It is the winning mentality that brought us the victory that historic day. Last time even if we are 2-0 down with 5 minutes to go, i will be glued to the TV because the team always managed to surprise at the end. Nowadays, if 2-0 down and even with 20 minutes to go, can go sleep.. |

If things don't get better, perhaps Carra will say " That's it! 1 more year for whoever is in charge. If nothing changes, i am taking over!"

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Dec 29 2012, 12:19 AM) Since cannot find a manager that everyone wants, Carra seems ideal..Kop Idol and a great understanding of the game. I don't think any supporters dare to put up that banner. He will shout at you until you pee in your pants..maybe even throw a boot at you.. |

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Jan 2 2013, 02:07 PM) Press conference: "I always feel my attacking side is much better than my defensive. Being a right footed attacker and playing left back for the first time, i feel i played okay. the amount of goals conceded didn't do the team much justice. I thought we played quite well.." Added on January 2, 2013, 4:16 pmIf Sahin if let go, then Liverpool has just wasted another few million pound. Come here not fully fit, didn't feature much...haiz...Perhaps, some of the transfers were requested by the medical team as they wanted to experiment with different type of healing processes. Joe Cole has done his very best to return there with every available injury he can get.. This post has been edited by saikuan: Jan 2 2013, 04:16 PM |

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Jan 2 2013, 11:50 PM) No idea on Gameiro. Only heard he was in pretty good form until Zlatan Ibrahimovic came and took his spot in the first team. No idea if this is even accurate. Gameiro is a striker that can operate on the flanks too. Might be a good option on loan. As for Caroll, who knows. He may come back and becomes our Demba Ba. And absolutely no one will buy Uncle Joe. They all wanna take him on loan only. But still better than paying him like what...80k or 100k to put his fat a$$ on the bench. Carroll might be sold back to Newcastle to replace Ba..just saying.. And Joe Cole i heard 'Arry wants him.. Fernandes might be willing to pay for his fat ass.. I still think Joe Cole was a signing wanted by the Liverpool medical team..that's why he is always with them.. |

QUOTE(digitalove_70s @ Jan 13 2013, 11:09 AM) i nearly choke when i read this; Liverpool could offer a lower basic plus performance based incentives..Since joe Cole and sahin is gone, perhaps there is a chance.. Plus he wants to come to the PL, so maybe it's either stay at Inter, go to Turkey or join any PL club...Have to wait and see..SOS SOS well..can we afford Sneijder in terms of his astronomical wage demand? and VV for 16mil? As for Valdes, perhaps a swap between him and Reina..But i think going for Butland seems a wiser choice since Birmingham is willing to sell for around 8-9 mil.. |
