QUOTE(dares @ Dec 23 2012, 01:21 AM) Carmakers install demisters for a reason, I'm just a weird basket who never uses it. U got me wrong.I think david has already laid it out to you quite clearly, it's up to you to decide. Forget about demister as it is rosak already. Some part of that demister got belang2. They said they can clean it for me and replace another tint for me for free. QUOTE(KIntos @ Dec 23 2012, 08:45 AM) as to my knowledge our gaga windscreen is using penguin seal sealant which is black colour. 1) I'm not sure whether Plotong uses something you posted. But read the caption: Sunstar glass replace adhesive meet OEM durability specificationsSunstar Penguin Seal 560-T 2) Unless they use the term, WE OEM FOR PLOTONG 3) Already told you the factory uses polyurethane. Color is regardless, its the fact that it's NOT SILICONE. Windscreen replacement business does not like me. Whenever I educate people about factory bond, windscreen fellow will find a parang and chase after me. People will find 101 reason to argue with me replacement windscreen is as good as original factory bond, sorry to said that, not even the CEO of US Glass Association can guarantee that. QUOTE(Leo Cyr @ Vice president National Glass Association @ Auto Glass Division, USA) After a windshield has been repalced, there is no reliable test to determine if the replacement was done properly or safely QUOTE(asrul @ Dec 23 2012, 08:48 AM) U got me wrong. Belang²? Which means itu Bangla tear it hard without even heating it up Forget about demister as it is rosak already. Some part of that demister got belang2. They said they can clean it for me and replace another tint for me for free. Yeah any solution if i want my demister back as what celvin said? Or.. If got new windscreen installed from proton itself, it will be the same like factory bond right? And to answer over and over again, FACTORY BOND meaning the car windshield was bonded FROM THE FACTORY. Any replacement outside will render stripping off anti-rust from the windshield frame. Thanks Nick for clearing it up by using the defloration concept This post has been edited by davidke20: Dec 23 2012, 09:54 AM |
