i try to answer ok?

flx use iafm+, engine a bit higher because save space for gearbox
if you intend to put engine cover urself, it will knock the hood. engineer decided not put it

that's O2 sensor, to sense the amount of oxygen and whatever air in the exhaust so the ECU can make adjustments to make the most efficient combustion.
