1st incident 6th Jan :Can't use the alarm to open the door. Use manual keys, to enter..engine can't start, headlamp can't on. No clicking sound. Nothing.
What we did : Take out the battery, checked with nearby workshop..battery was healthy. So it was not battery fault.
Took back the battery, and re-install. Suddenly alarm went on, system all back to normal. Can start the car.
Next day 7th Jan :
brought the car to Proton Service Center, explained the problem & ask them to check the car. The technician said "No Problem". Everything is ok.
Today, 9th Jan :Entered the car as usual. Start the engine. Gear still at P. Turn on the headlamp > engine shuts down. Car cannot start again. Headlamp out. Same condition during 6th Jan. Took out the battery, re-install. Power returns. Can start the car. But we can't be doing this every time. Ridiculous!
I've just asked a few friends working with PROTON, they said might be ECU problem. Now the car is at glenmarie SC. Have to leave the car for a day..
hopefully they can find the problem and solve it. Kinda dissapointed because the car is barely 7months. No such problem before this.
I kinda had the same problem with my previous car.
Got it checked a few times found out that there was a problem with the fusebox.
Maybe if later the prob still not solved can look into that part for some wires disconnected or blown fuse.
