If kenot eg like me here, observe how good mechs do that procedure. Then go slow when attempting it.

Fyi me once helped as an "apprentice" mech 4a few mths for FREE...after working hrs...juz 2pass time & learn abit....
The official mech cld not find good helpers & he needed help 2refer 2official service manuals on sp procedures so that he cld work on some car probs...

In return, me also benefitted...cld use the wkshop tools & sp equipment eg sandblaster 4spark plugs, and sp staff discounts 4spare parts!!  thumbs:

Me hv seen that being done..to a deformed rim of a relative.
Pretty fast & easy in hands of an experienced guy!

However, me wonder...how strong is that part of the rim after all that heating & hammering, etc?
Wld that part juz fracture nxt time one bangs rim @ arnd same area?

Feel if can afford it, it's best 2replace with new rims!
Juz like tyres, rims are very important as they hold the tyres which are the only contact yr car has with the road!!


ps. IINM they do hv X-Ray machines (overseas?) which can chk on the internal condition of the damaged rim b4 & after repair...?
