You must take SAT , and also at least 2 SAT Subject Tests for US universities .

Since you've completed STPM , SAT Subject Tests like Physics , Chemistry , Math 2 shouldn't be a problem for you to get a perfect score (800) . Take not , some schools like Harvard requires 3 Subject Tests .

The main SAT , however is a bit challenging .

Landing a place in prestigious universities can be difficult , especially if you're aiming for top engineering schools like Caltech / MIT . They value not only your academic qualification but your overall performance in other areas as well . Most importantly , they want to see whether you're passionate or not in whatever you're pursuing .
