Gaining acceptance into some universities aren't hard. It just depends on which school you want to go to. If you want to go into an ivy league, it's going to be extremely difficult since you're competing with the best of the best, not to mention it's insanely expensive for even local students. In general, the price for international students an extra 400 USD per unit (or more) on top of the current tuition you have to pay per semester. I would not advise applying unless you're certain you can pay everything. That would be your first problem in my opinion.
