Currently I am getting offer from a new company as senior application developer.

The company is a newly formed and shared holders are from quite a few companies in media/advert industry such as SpecerAzizul Advertising, People 'n Rich, KHK Advertising, Trapper Media Services, Platinum R&F and Formulasi Produktif.
Scope of job will be mostly like pace-maker migrating their existing system from ASP to ASP.NET platform and mostly doing web application for their clients.

However, after I submit my resignation letter. My boss put a counter offer as matching salary or maybe better than it and pos will be much on project lead.(Actually he told me this before I am getting offer from the new company) and job scope will be much on management than development.

1.Report to CEO
2.Project Management and Analysis (methodology, procedure and feasibility)
3.Platform roadmap and research
4.Software Quality Assurance and internal/technical documentation

Key performance index (KPI)
1.Project team productivity
2.Platform enhancement or new development


The current company is actually relatively small (10-15 peoples) and specialize in mobile industry.Wherea new company is "bigger" (20 or more) and much in advertisement/media services.

My dilemma..I am just 25 year and have been wotking in current company for 1.5 years. Should give myself a chance out to other company?

How u all actually make a decision if u were in such situation?

Actually, what u want is the money.
who works for experience. experience is for you to get more money
if your boss wants to give you more money or even better pay than the other company is offering, then take it.
