Just wondering whether anybody has used them before? I am contemplating whether to peel off the stock thermal adhesive and stick it permanently to the motherboard mosfets and hotspots with AS Thermal Adhesive or not. I am also curious how well the stock thermal adhesive works. Here are some pics:

There are better than Vantec and a lot cheaper than the Swiftech. I am sure lots of ppl will get it if the price is reasonable. I myself will at least get 2 packs.castrodesauza ordered them, so we'll see how they fare. |

Just initial estimate for the OCZ BGA Ramsink, will probably be around USD20+ dollars - about RM80+.

QUOTE(kingmaker_20 @ Mar 25 2006, 12:34 AM) Yea I saw it in bulk order.I wonder how much is the temp difference using Swiftech and OCZ Bga ramsink. Not sure, but the design ofthe Swiftech is better. More solid. And if you look at it, wind can come from any direction and cool it. Whereas with the OCZ you have to blow parallel to the fins to get max cooling coz if you blow the other way, the first fin will block airflow to the other fins - limiting its cooling ability. |

erm....
thats true.... heat is dissipated faster using the Swiftech BGA ramsink. Better design.... are there any other ramsink out there... currently i am using the VANTEC's BGA Ramsink.... to me its performing better with a ramsink than without one.... One thing for sure, that Swiftech BGA Ramsinks is to darn expensive to be compared with any other ramsinks that is in the market...
Not sure about the performance though... |

these heatsinks will still win the stock 6800Ultra ramsinks because its pure copper and their using pin instead of "forgot wats the name"(those ramsinks you norally find).
