Just wondering whether anybody has used them before? I am contemplating whether to peel off the stock thermal adhesive and stick it permanently to the motherboard mosfets and hotspots with AS Thermal Adhesive or not. I am also curious how well the stock thermal adhesive works. Here are some pics:

they're too expensive for us ... I love to have one too, but not sure if i am ready to spend around rm90 for ram heatsink

Yeah come to think of it. It was an impulse buy myself. I also felt it was damn expensive for ramsinks. Oh well.........was hoping someone used it in the forum and have some input.

hhmm, the stock thermal tapes shud be good enuf dun u think?
if its not satisfactory, then u cud always take them off and start using AS 5.
so far on XS, everybody seems to be using it with the stock thermal tapes. >.<

Vantec BGA Ramsink is RM60 when i bought it, and i already think its expensive. But this one...

Guess it's pretty obvious 'those' kind of stuffs don reach the malaysian shores so soon..

actually i carry them in my bulk also... but yeah they are very expensive.
castrodesauza ordered them, so we'll see how they fare.

If possible please make a bulk on the OCZ BGA ramsink. There are better than Vantec and a lot cheaper than the Swiftech. I am sure lots of ppl will get it if the price is reasonable. I myself will at least get 2 packs.

if he bought the Apex Ultra+ kit it comes with the MC14 BGA ramsinks

Just initial estimate for the OCZ BGA Ramsink, will probably be around USD20+ dollars - about RM80+.

Not sure, but the design ofthe Swiftech is better. More solid. And if you look at it, wind can come from any direction and cool it. Whereas with the OCZ you have to blow parallel to the fins to get max cooling coz if you blow the other way, the first fin will block airflow to the other fins - limiting its cooling ability.

yeah .. even I'm the bulk seller for that OCZ ramsink also think swiftech is the best BGA heatsink u can get ..

to me its performing better with a ramsink than without one....

Yea the Swiftech BGA ramsink looks promising for better heat lose.

The Swiftech is kind of pricy....

I found a new use for them. I bought 2 packs for my motherboard. Just stick them onto the chipsinks. Tonight I get you guys a pic....

bout these ramsinks, anyone tested the performance vs let say, stock 6800u big ram heatsink ?

these heatsinks will still win the stock 6800Ultra ramsinks because its pure copper and their using pin instead of "forgot wats the name"(those ramsinks you norally find).
