hi... is there anyway to confirm the available free space is a valid free space in the memory card? planning to buy from someone (2nd hand) and thought want to test it before close deal.

hahaha.... i know that!
 just wanna know the amount of free space display is 100% valid free space... scare the card got default or something but my device still detect it as normal...so basically there is no way to determine... i'm using pda phone to test by the way... |

What type of memory card are you buying, btw? CompactFlash, SD, or Memory Stick?

Format it using PDA, if got bad sector or error or whatever, it will alert you...

Even new SD card I've bought new not 100% capacity of its memory. Say 256mb only gives you 240mb something.
