hi... is there anyway to confirm the available free space is a valid free space in the memory card? planning to buy from someone (2nd hand) and thought want to test it before close deal.

Anyone able to help? Thanks for reading~ notworthy.gif

hahaha.... i know that! biggrin.gif just wanna know the amount of free space display is 100% valid free space... scare the card got default or something but my device still detect it as normal...

so basically there is no way to determine... i'm using pda phone to test by the way...

Format it using PDA, if got bad sector or error or whatever, it will alert you...

Yup, that's the best way to test the PDA... Or else, u can also get those multi-memory card devices and check the status there...

Even new SD card I've bought new not 100% capacity of its memory. Say 256mb only gives you 240mb something.

anyway seems like there is no other way to test... i thought there might have some PPC software to check the memory card error... those way you guys mentioned I already known...
