Hi there,
I've just mounted a Thermaltake Polo 735 on an Asus K8N (AMD3700+ Socket 754). Since this is a three-in-one fan, I had no real problems with the mounting. Anyway, my question is, that is it normal for the heatsink not to take up the whole CPU heatspreader? I have like a very small gap not covered by the heatsink because of the way the heatsink is designed.

Anyone with TTPolo 735 experience?

Answer for you is not really as as long as the heatsink's core is placed properly and irectly above the core's area, it's more the sufficient to absorbed and dissipate the heat being produced. The IHS is meant primarily to prevent core crushing due to spring loading pressure rather more then anything else.
