Think most of us here already got hold of windows 8 phone d so what apps you recommend?

My old lumia 610 i use to use instacam for instagram alternative.

Metrotube for youtube.

Just purchased my lumia 920 and was figuring which apps to download for the phone. As i never really explored the windows 7 market last time as my lumia 610 alot of apps could not download.

In windows 8 I realized i could not download metrotube not in the windows 8 market place

So any apps you guys recommend for windows 8 to make my phone more interesting.

Metrotube was hidden for a bit because of Google is screwing with 3rd party youtube app recently...
try download several lenses so that you can play when you're taking pics...
probably you can try to play with photobeamer or creative studio

Other than updating the Nokia apps...

I would recommend the app Battery Status, which is FOC. The main app if you open the app has adverts but if you put it as a tile then u dont see it.

Makes life easier to see how much batt the phone has and also how long b4 it runs dry.

They're 2 battery status app, both free, one from tomasz one from mj software. which one to go ?

i just got my 1st windows phone which is the lumia920.
just wanted to know any essential apps i need to have.
currently aside from facebook, imdb, foursquare and flixster, i do have rowi.
but am still not sure what essential apps to get. i heard there was metrotube but cant seem to find it. has it been pulled from the marketplace?
so hopefully u all can give me guidance

oh ya... metrotube is back in action now.... saw the update in my store app.... kinda annoyed with google who screwing 3rd party youtube apps

There is also Tube Pro if you like an alternative to MetroTube & Youtube. I have both

what is your regions 1st??? MY region suck almost 90% apps not appear.

when i change my region to US, when going to pay (trying to get metrotube), it ask for credit card details, and billing address, should I put fake address or there is other way to bypass this?

you guys using debit/credit card for US store or paypal?
i cant seem to use my debit card to purchase on US store even though have put fake address and phone number

have you bought anything online using your debit card?? if not, you must call your bank to activate your debit card for online purchase.

i have purchased items on the Malaysia store , and games via steam and previously on iphone's itunes.

the 1st & 2nd line of address you can use local address, only put US postal code & fake contact number.

it works for me, I put some office address in new york, pay by my cc, then maybank call me after few minutes, to verify my purchase.haha.
