 Cylon sure come along any future Xbox360's welcome On another note I check with Djinn there is no big screen for the F1 race at any of the outlets and I certainly don't recall any in the new wing. If I have time will check the old wing. In the meantime if you know of any place let me know. |

Currently at Subang Parade, decided to drop by here and stay until i reach home at around 10pm. Nice to meet u guys at the gathering, hopefully we could meet up again with more ppl. Sorry lar .. forgotten to take pic, no time ... just chit chatting all the way. I did take pic of a tie fighter and a xwing. Damn nice.

Err, TimesSquare worst right? I don't recall seeing any Games shop there. Midvalley is good..lol. Takes me less than 5 minutes to get there.

Plaza Damas is never crowded if you really want no crowd. There's a starbuks and a quick eat out of pizza modesto or the pancake house. Located near Sri Hartamas...Also lots of eateries outside the Plaza like dim sum all day I believe (halal too)

May i suggest Pelita Nasi Kandar near KLCC? I have my lunch/dinner there a lot, and they have large screen TVs there for those wanting some football action. If we decide a movie is in order, i strongly suggest "The Inside Man", saw it last night in KLCC, bloody brilliant storyline, makes you think from strat till finish. Stellar cast as well from Clive Owen, Jodie Foster and Denzel Washington.

Actually u've got a point there.. Midvalley is crazy on the weekends. Finding a parking is a chore too.

well i vote for midvalley... if can vote 2nd choice then time square * actually the trick for shopping in midvalley on satruday and sunday very simple only you must arrive there before 11am. for easier parking space make sure you come from kerinchi link and enter midvalley using the underground/truck passage and use the right lane & park in B2. so if really wanna do gathering in midvalley make sure make it before 11am |

Actually nowadays before 12pm is still ok for Midvalley....most of the time if you come around 12 you shouldn't have trouble getting parking. But if you come after 12pm....better not come at all

I was thinking the other day, why dun we have a movie gathering in May, there are 3 movies coming out in May .. they are Mission Impossible 3, X-men 3 and The Da Vinci Code. After the movie, we could have dinner and head back home. What do u guys think about this idea ??

But a shadow looms on the horizon, and threatens to engulf all these wimpy summer flicks, .....a beast called "The Da Vinci Code". A proper CORE would be cheaper methinks, as long as these retailers here understand that there is such a thing as a Core, and price them accordingly. The thing is, i dont want to carry HDD around while i travel, it's not that cheap to replace once it is damaged. Buying Premiums would mean leaving the top part bogel liddat, with the SATA connector exposed. That would mean potential chance of damaging that port as well. Core 360s have that protective cover on the HDD top part and cheaper to boot.

Not a problem actually. going to Frankfurt tomorrow, and then Perth in one week, and Tokyo at the end of the month. So which one? Core from Europe, Oz or Japan? Or should i wait for the new smaller core fab 360 to arrive?

I proposed Sunday 11 June 2006. Meet up at Starbucks Centerpoint around 12.30pm for lunch. Places to eat around there, well there's Secret Recipe, Manhattan Seafood, McDonalds, Thai Restaurant, mamak shop, some smaller restaurants in that area. Parking is plenty and free (I think). |

Movie gathering? I've some insiders when it comes to tickets, but only at three venues: GSC Midvalley, GSC BTS, and TGV KLCC. Areas like 1U and Curve is out of my turf.
I'll be there first day Supes tear up the skies above Metropolis though.....so any Saturday shows are second/nth screening for me. |

Is anyone else still interested with the proposed Superman Returns gathering? We ould make this the first movie gathering for our community. I could help with getting the tickets, it would be awesome if we could make it like the last Star Wars Ep.III gathering i organized before where we occupy the entire movie cinema hall (48 seats) in Premiere class.
If there arent any response to this, i guess we all carry on with our own agenda lah. Got mine for this Wed/Thurs. as well as repeat viewing on Friday and Saturday for the crowd/ambiance. |

Xbox 360 First Movie Gathering Proposition Date : 1st July 2006 Venue: You Decide Movie : Superman Returns Time: : You Decide, although i propose that we make it around 7pm, so that football fanatics still have plenty of time to be back home and watch the semifinals. List down your proposed venues, and timings. Anything decided later than this Thursday, will make it tough for me to organize tickets for Saturday show. Trust me, i've been through many movie gatherings to know that these kinds of blockbuster requires ample prep for tickets sizes more than 10. |

Movie starts at 7pm finishes at 9:30 the latest (runtime is 2.5hrs), a little chitchat at the end of movie, everybody bersurai, just in time for the 11pm match, or better still, we continue watching World Cup from a sports bar or other eating place. Everybody's happy.
