QUOTE(adurian @ Oct 5 2014, 01:23 AM) Melbourne to KL business cost 34k Enrich Miles. Is it worth it to redeeming? Isn't it better to redeem (under current promotion) Adelaide return at 40k Enrich Miles? Fly domestic to Melbourne and back again to Adelaide for return flight to KUL.

Hi guys! Need your advise.
I need to fly to San Francisco in the middle of November but MAS doesn't fly there anymore. What is the best option? Is it possible to use Enrich Miles for Cathay Pacific under One World? Any other possibilities?
Thanks.

QUOTE(supersound @ Oct 30 2014, 02:04 PM) http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/enri...r-airlines.htmlYou referring to this? Looks like not that attractive Especially on non MAS redemption Thanks for your info. You're right, the redemption rate is not attractive. Bye, bye business class ... hopefully still get to travel EVA Air deluxe class.

QUOTE(hye @ Jan 12 2015, 12:49 PM) Under normal conditions where the ticket is purchased via non-award means then the change is likely to be possible. (depending on the ticket class + often with a change fee and others fees) To note that MAS define "update" as changing 3 (max) characters in the person name designated as the traveller. Changing a name is totally a different thing altogether and carries the full impact of additional fees. To note under award, the following rule applies. "18. Once a Travel Award is issued it is considered used if not utilised for the flight reserved. Enrich Miles cannot be re-deposited nor can taxes, fees and surcharges paid be refunded." Sorry mate but bad news. Everything is totally gone if you wish to change it to another person. Worst still, you have to deduct more points from your coffers and pay for the taxes again. Anyone using the Enrich award should be aware of the impact if the person decides not to fly after redeeming the award. Looks like trouble for me ... nevertheless, thank you for your feedback.

Hi guys,
Noob question. Recently I flew to Melbourne, at KLIA I presented my Enrich member card but forgot to do so on the way back at Melb airport. Will I still be credited with points for the return journey? Or is there a way to rescue the lost points?

Hi guys,
If my company buys a regular ticket for me, can I upgrade using my personal EM? If yes, how do I go about doing that? Thanks.

QUOTE(msa9696 @ Dec 2 2018, 01:29 AM) I'm just saying it's possible despite not everyone can achieve, since most mentioned that the only way to get upgraded is by flying. My circle of friends already have 5ppl upgraded with this scheme including myself and no, we're not that rich to spend so much, but there are ways Please share information on the scheme. Who should we contact? Thanks.

QUOTE(Omgf @ Jun 26 2019, 11:40 PM) No sign of booking with miles Just select 'Cash & Miles' and proceed by selecting your flights. You'll also need to fill up your fellow travellers' details (unless you're booking for own self only) before finally seeing the miles needed. Indeed more cumbersome but the advantage is the new slider bar that allows you to choose the 'lesser' quantity of miles. I think I can live with that ....

I find that the 'cash and miles' thingy is quite alright. Initially when I didn't have much points, it allowed redemption for all my points (slider max being my total points). After converting more points, I found that the slider max had increased. Should be pretty close or same with the previous 'miles only' redemption.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, the only big difference is needing to key-in passenger's details before able to see the slider bar. More tedious now ...

Best offer so far but very worrisome. Under normal circumstances straight away sai lang but not now. Still keeping my bank's treatpoint. Normally the better the offer the higher the risk.
A year later when it's safe to fly, I'm worried that this airline is no more. If it miraculously survive, we maybe flying in some shitty planes!

QUOTE(jerantut2011 @ Jan 27 2023, 10:53 AM) Wondering if anyone has managed to redeem flights on Japan Airlines using Enrich miles? Japan Airlines belongs to the One World Alliance. According to MAS, Enrich miles can be used to redeem flights on Japan Airlines. But such option is not available online. Thank you. I've done it by calling MAS at 1300883000 then choosing the option ENRICH. The person on the other end provided good support.
