Guys. A sudden thought on this.

25000 points are needed to upgrade to Silver.
But until 25th Dec let's say, I have only 23000 points. (The upgrade is valid for points accumulation of 1 year calendar, not 1 year from your joined membership)
So, shortage of 2000 points, which I could acquire from transferring my treat points to make it exceeding 25000 enrich points.
So, does this move will make me a silver card or that 2000 points will be transfered to your total category?

To upgrade FFP status you need to fly

If you look into your account, only when you fly the miles are recorded as "Elite Miles". You need 25,000 Elite Miles to upgrade. Those miles you transfer from credit card are just miles and are not considered.

Good, so means people just cant buy for that FPP status =D
They need to fly to earn that status..

And really, silver is nothing special....no entry into golden lounge...

You gold or platinum huh?

well if you can have it, not too bad

1. Priority check in
2. Priority boarding
3. 25% bonus miles

Not bad i would say =)

Guys, what is the possibility of MAB will upgrade you to the next elite level say if you are short of 200-500 miles? Anyone can share your experience?

Call the CS line.
Previously was short of 2000 or 3000 miles and i appeal via CS line.
Got upgraded to the next tier.

I'm short of 1.6k miles to Gold level by mid of Dec. Do you think they would be able to upgrade me to Gold for free?

Do something if you want something!
Chances of getting something while not doing anything is so so true...
Just give a call to their CS.

Thanks guys. I plan to call CS to query if they are able to upgrade me to Gold without travelling. Been in silver for years and this is the closest I could get to gold thus far.  tongue.gif

If they insist me to travel in order to upgrade, then have to find some cheap ticket coz year end tickets are so expensive!

You are welcome!
I believe the sooner you call the better it is, you dont wanna dwell with these, because at the end of the day its your own benefits not others.
cheers.

Claiming missing miles with Enrich is pain in the arse!
Anyone agree on this?
I filed in for Nov 2016 flights, and its not even credited into my account even though its already Feb 2017, not to mention its the end of the month.
CS cant do a single thing but to repeat their SOP, "we cannot do anything here".
Email keeps sending me their preset reply "For retroactive mileage requests on Enrich airline partners, it take may 6 to 8 weeks."

you should keep chasing it, you still keep your ticket?

I claimed for mine on AF/KLM flights 2 weeks after my flight and pts came into my acc within 8 weeks.

It was pretty fast for me when I claimed for partner airline (JAL) missing miles previously. Took less than a month to credit back into my account. Strongly recommend you to continue bug their CS until success.

Well well well.
Turns out to be little bit of both's fault.
First, I selected the wrong airport of arrival. rclxub.gif
Second, the airport which matches my boarding pass does not exists in their drop down menu. hmm.gif

Having said that, the above only applies for my domestic flight.
My KL-NRT on 12Nov16 still pending doh.gif

Hi.
anyone has same experience with me?
Enrich points are always not credited automatically when I travel to Korea...
But to other destinations, within 7 working days, points will be added automatically.
Each time this hapens, I have to provide boarding pass, booking numbers, and etc etc as proof. Too troublesome.

Enrich has just updated their system, which makes it more sensitive, or should I say more specific to the account holder's first and last name.

My previous Japan and Korea trip punya miles aren't credited! Even after 2 months.
