If I were to bring my family in MAS using just my own Enrich Membership, do I get to earn miles from everyone under the same booking number?

This is a known strategy in the airline industry. A one-stop service will often times be more expensive than direct service. They are taking advantage of the convenience they provide.

Imagine you’re staying in KUL and wanted to head to LHR. MH offered you a direct flight which cost 1000 and takes 12hours. CX (somehow) knows that you are going to LHR, and instead of letting MH earn your business, CX will try to woo you over, by providing you with a cheaper price (eg 850), at the expense of time (one stop will take probably 16hours) as this will now be KUL-HKG-LHR. You’ll also have additional risk, eg if your KUL-HKG is delayed causing you to miss the connecting flight or baggage didn’t make it etc. For CX, if they’re not taking your business, they’re gonna fly empty anyway so a bit discount won’t hurt.

In your case, MH will not know that you just want to fly KUL-LHR, they’ll just know that I’m gonna be competitive and try to win some passengers from other countries. And hence they’ll sell you cheaper for HKG-KUL-LHR. And airline rule is such that if you miss your first leg or HKG-KUL, your entire journey will be voided, so you cannot be funny and just turn up in KUL for the KUL-LHR without taking the first flight.

if not mistaken, you can convert to around 445k enrich miles (conversion rate 4500 TP = 1000 EM), which is more than enough to redeem business class to London...

Using aa miles to redeem mas flights also always cheaper than using enrich. Seriously no point to collect enrich miles anymore. Sadly for malaysian its another reason not to support your own flagship.... Just too very bad
I probably have 20k miles in enrich which will forgo or just let it burn.. If lucky enough to book 1 way flight then end the chapter with enrich

Recently just got into the airline miles game.
Read thru the first few page and still couldnt decide which card is better for me.

Currently I'm holding CIMB Enrich Platinum cc, but rm4 for 1 enrich mile seems like it will take forever to gather the required point for flight redemption.

My salary p.a. is less than 80k tho, any sifu can recommend some other CC and also other extra tips to collect points?

I will be travelling one or twice each year tho.

So if let say i purchased MAS ticket using mbb 2card and also fill up the enrich membership, i would earn EM from both place right? (TP from Mbb card and EM via the Enrich membership)

I think salary is relevent to get the CC, to maximise the earning potential xD

It's all based in the real price of the ticket. It can be high, it can be low.
KUL-NRT economy return can get for: RM2183 + RM212 tax [OR 54,700 Miles + RM260]
KUL-NRT business return can get for: RM6996 + RM212 tax [OR 138,200 Miles + RM276]

Basically Enrich redemption is quite standard calculation. Just take the Ringgit price and covert to Miles.
For Economy you'll get about 3.8-4 cents/Mile
For Business you'll get about 5 cents/Mile

Enrich business redemption is plain daylight robbery. Unfortunately I have 300+k Miles stuck in Enrich have to use it up. Just redeemed KL-MELB economy return for 53,400 Miles.
MAS economy redemption is it's only saving grace. Decent price and it's direct flights.

I have surged 4 Cathay lounges before in Hong Kong travelling Cathay biz class...damn worth it the redemption.. ha ha
