Was wondering whether anyone has seen ‘Enrich saver’ fare for Business suite to NRT before?

So far the dates I browsed, seems like it’s all based on dynamic pricing.

Was just wondering to get some data points on how much it would cost to redeem a business suite flight.

I had that for a one way flight back from NRT if that helps.

Mind sharing how much points + tax it costed and what month of travel it was?

And I note the points cost one way from NRT - KUL is significantly higher than KUL - NRT

You asking for business or business suite?
Business suite or F class. I dont believe 34k miles is possible though

I’m asking for business suite, so called F class for MH

Was very curious as to whether there’s any saver availability or all will be dynamic pricing in points

Anyone tried to redeem Enrich Saver by successfully using credit card to pay the shortfall in points?

This was previously possible, but seems like the new system only allows full points redemption

Mind to share how was it sorted out?

Is it now fixed on the website?

And was your payment full points redemption + payment of the taxes with your credit card?

Or did you have to topup the shortfall in points with your card, thus couldn’t proceed with payment using credit card?

Anyone know how much 1EP worth.. roughly?
*
To me, general rule of thumb is 1EP is worth RM0.04.

How did I come up with this figure?

Previously when you could still pay enrich saver tickets using a mixture of points + cash, you would be able to calculate it to 1EP = RM0.04.

So now if you try to buy points officially from enrich website, the cheapest you can get it for is RM0.055 per EP, so that’s definitely not worth it as you’re over paying.

I saw that you’re earning 1.5% cashback on your overseas spending. Depending on what card you’re using and the corresponding EP earn rate, the least you should be getting is RM2.5/EP to match that 1.5% cashback you’re currently earning ,which many cards actually offer, examples as follows:

Ambank Emrich VI - RM1/EP = 4% return
Ambank Enrich VP - RM2/EP = 2% return
MBB VI - RM2/EP = 2% return
UOB PME - RM1.2/EP = 3.3% return

Hope my answer helps

all above are for overseas spend right? how about the best card for local spend?
*
Yeah, the above examples are for overseas spend.

As for local spend, there’s currently no one card that can be used as a general spend card with decent earnings. Will have to use a combination of different cards (e.g Alliance VI/VP for eWallet and online transactions, UOB VI/ SCB Journey for dining, and maybe the HLB VI for all other spends)
