Hi Sifus,
I am a newbie who just reached enrich platinum status. Got lucky to have reached this tier by flying with company money. Anyhow, I have been an avid reader of most topics authored by GenX, focusing on credit cards and enrich miles with malaysia airlines. Among all the benefits of having this status, MAS mentioned that they offer meet and greet service, where they will greet you at KLIA entrance and escort/assist you to your lounge/departure gate. Hmm, have anyone of the sifus here tried or experienced this before? Can I book this service for my family members though? I tried asking at the MAS check in counter at KLIA, but they told me that not many people use it because most of them are already familiar with the airport and know how to get by and additionally she told me that they really do not receive request at all about it. Best, SAR This post has been edited by Tumnus: Dec 9 2017, 05:55 PM |

Even if he didn't stop, he would have given up on enrich with the current devaluation....

QUOTE(limeuu @ Dec 20 2017, 01:43 PM) Probably, but I think I'm stuck with enrich for the foreseeable future as work usually demands that I do a lot of regional travel out of KUL. Doesn't really make sense to fly any other airline. Still, I've managed to build up a modest stash of air-miles of around 180k and I'm trying to save up as much as possible so I can take my atomic family on some nice luxurious holiday by earning miles through my normal flying supplemented by gaming the system with my m2card premier.Right now, I'm not getting much info out of the forums with most of the links broken and a lack of articles on how best to earn and use the points following the devaluation. Its frustrating... |

QUOTE(bearbear @ Dec 20 2017, 04:20 PM) Route? I normally qualify for gold status by flying >50 elite sectors on a mixture of economy/business but this year I had a couple of long haul flights which put me at around 80k elite miles. In 2018 work travel brought me from KUL to Jakarta, ho chi minh, Hanoi, phnom penh, manila, Bangkok, bali, changi, yangon, Vientiane as well as DXB, DOH, AUH, NRT and AKL. Apart from 2 of those flights I flew MAS or oneworld. I don't enjoy flying so I really can't live without the gold tier benefits such as priority check in and lounge access which go a long way towards making travelling tolerable.Actually GenX is still active with Enrich Miles because he prefer direct flights from / to KL » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « So my aim is maybe 2 business tix to japan in winter 2018 for wife and son and maybe 1 business tix to London for wife for summer 2019. I'll probably pay my own way for the elite miles/sectors. Little stories from genx like in the spoiler you posted are actually quite helpful in deciding how to achieve my flying goals for the year. |

Hi all
Plan to move point to airline point program.(enrich or Asia miles) and redeem flight ticket. Are those ticket redeem fix on their own point? Like kl to London return trip 50k for enrich (miss look, which is for upgrade to better seat) 60k for Asia miles. This post has been edited by act one: Dec 26 2017, 08:18 AM |

I was actually short of 20K by November but there was an enrich promotion that grants you 2X elite miles or so last month and the flights I book to fly in December made me reach above 100K elite miles, I am lucky!. Might be a good idea to look for such promotion in the future So my aim is maybe 2 business tix to japan in winter 2018 for wife and son and maybe 1 business tix to London for wife for summer 2019. Can consider Asiamiles if you wanna pump your revenue flying miles into good use as you can further top up with your credit card points. Marco Polo Club though you need to pay, you can check out if your pattern of flying will get you any status at all. This post has been edited by db07mufan: Dec 26 2017, 09:38 PM |
