Looks like they decided to dump the revenue based system and go back to zone....
The j redemption is still not competitive....LHR with kf is only 92k miles with low taxes.... And needing to book return makes it non flexible.... The y redemption still okay....in fact 30k to Oz is a lot lower than the 49k I paid recently.... p/s i did a trial booking to see how this works...they still can't get it right....kul-lhr at 45k, but 50k from kch....so it's not region based....and you get a basic revenue based redemption at 39k from kl....and not available on many dates.... Unlike the normal revenue ticket price linked redemption, the base redemption is like zone/sector based redemption and will of course be restricted to allocated seats....
