saver on hot route can be difficult and may require advanced booking, or the infamous wait list.
standard basically means more miles and available to book immediately most of the time.

QUOTE(terence_say @ Nov 13 2017, 09:03 PM) look like HLB VI provide better EM conversion for local spending compare to Maybank VI Maybank VI -RM4.77 spending for 1 EM HLB VI - RM2.80 spending for 1 EM but what make HLB VI out of the picture when discuss on EM conversion? dint see much member discuss on this card MBB VI is 2TP per RM locally thus RM 2.385 spending for 1EM best part is the 5x TP feature which HLB offer none And enrich is past its prime, mbb still have KF & AM options

QUOTE(terence_say @ Nov 13 2017, 09:28 PM) Ah... thanks for enlighten me, now make sense. But I will still bill my insurance and petrol to HLB VI as this 2 category only earn 1 TP with my current Maybank MU VI you are right, the downside of HLB is there is no KF or AM as option, only EM and is a auto conversion. I just do some research on MAS website, found out that EM is still not that bad when come to Economy redemption, only Business that is much affected, or did I also miss out something this time round? thanks petrol has been revised I believe? should earn 5xTP for RM500 or so with Amex Reserve

QUOTE(Kidicarus @ Dec 19 2017, 03:28 PM) That's sweet. I get to fly on company money too unfortunately its mostly regional so platinum is tough for me (20k short this year) Just wondering are the Genx articles mirrored anywhere? The links are all broken and he's pretty much vanished off lowyat since middle of 2016.. he has stop the blog itself Still write some articles when he is free https://www.facebook.com/TheInnerQiProject/

QUOTE(Kidicarus @ Dec 20 2017, 02:34 PM) Probably, but I think I'm stuck with enrich for the foreseeable future as work usually demands that I do a lot of regional travel out of KUL. Doesn't really make sense to fly any other airline. Still, I've managed to build up a modest stash of air-miles of around 180k and I'm trying to save up as much as possible so I can take my atomic family on some nice luxurious holiday by earning miles through my normal flying supplemented by gaming the system with my m2card premier. Right now, I'm not getting much info out of the forums with most of the links broken and a lack of articles on how best to earn and use the points following the devaluation. Its frustrating... Route? Actually GenX is still active with Enrich Miles because he prefer direct flights from / to KL » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Many were pissed off when Enrich inflated their Redemption Program; but not me. This is because I am grateful that the Enrich Miles I earned are FREE from my credit cards' transactions (mostly from paying my children overseas tuition fees). And maybe because I have lots of remaining positive karma points from my past life, the universe highest authority must have “instructed” RHB to hand delivery their Premier Visa Infinite to my doorstep without me requesting for it!
One thing I must add, Enrich is still pretty good when Malaysia Airlines is having a sale where we need much less Enrich Miles to redeem a return ticket.
And with the RHB Premier VI, it makes no diff to me that Enrich inflated their Miles required to redeem a Business Class ticket. This is because the RHB Premier VI is super fantastic to accumulate Enrich Miles from overseas transactions. How fantastic? Well I practically earn close to 25% more Enrich Miles for every Ringgit spent overseas with the RHB VI compared to my Maybank 2 Cards Premier (1 EM = RM0.954 spent). Therefore, with the RHB Premier VI, it's like as if I am still able to redeem a FREE Business Class ticket to London by spending roughly the same amount (today) compared with my Maybank VI last year (prior to Enrich inflating their redemption program).
On top of the superb 8X Reward Points for overseas transactions. The RHB Premier VI offers UNLIMITED FREE entries to Plaza Premium Lounges including London, HK and Singapore versus Maybank 2 Cards Premier's pathetic limited 5X. And best of all, the RHB Premier VI is FREE FOR LIFE without any condition, i.e. the annual fee will be perpetually waived even if you do not spend a single sen with it and yet get to enter airport lounges 10X for FREE!!! QUOTE(araveang @ May 29 2019, 10:44 PM) new at this game, need some guidance on the topic. many thanks for the kind help 1. how to book for one world , just call mas for flight search? 2. confirmation is it on the spot 3. miles would be roughly the same as em redemption rate? 4. which one would be more worth it, redemption via asiamiles or oneworld 1. U need to search for flight availability before calling, else your conversation will be a long one if they find no seat 2. Upon finding seat available and you pay, yes 3. Google enrich partner award chart
