From your list, looks like MBB Krisflyer and Ambank World are your two best card to earn FFP. Good thing is Ambank also transfers to SQ Krisflyer so your best bet is to stick with SQ and *A.

For myself, i'm also planning a trip to Vancouver but using Enrich to redeem OW flights on either CX or JL. Both have daily flights to Vancouver but CX availability rather depends on luck.. Was told that it's hard to get a seat for now because most of AA FFP are redeeming up their miles before the devaluation. I prefer CX or JL because they've removed the fuel surcharge fee. I only need to pay about RM 700-900 on tax for 2 pax while on SQ, the tax can go up to RM 3k for long distance flight.

advantage of being in Krisflyer is that you can redeem SQ Suites... once in a lifetime experience for people like us..

I am exploring the flights to Barcelona and I found out that I could not redeem tickets to Barcelona using Enrich but yet Malaysia airlines do fly to Barcelona. May I know how to redeem them? And another question about Oneworld: is it possible for me to redeem flight to Barcelona if other airlines in the group fly there and if yes, are the redemption rates cheaper than if I redeem using Enrich? I am having a hard time figuring which are the ones available for redemption and how much are the miles on Oneworld. The Enrich redemption online is pretty staightforward though. Appreciate some help.

Recently i purchased economy promo tickets which is class O. Ticket class which doesn't allow for upgrade using enrich miles to business class.

Anyone has any alternative to do the upgrade even the ticket class not eligible? as my initial intention was to utilize the miles I saved all the time. 

I dun think last min upgrade applicable to award ticket.. tried b4.. no success..

They asked to top-up the different miles for business award ticket
But, just try your luck la.. no harm pun... 

So even class O also possible to upgrade with miles? That will be great for my case

Btw, does MAS have reserve or limit the seat for upgrade in each flight?

arghh.. Opss sorry not award ticket.. Yes, Promo ticket.. Tried with Promo ticket b4, they asked to pay the different in cash between promo & MH smart price ticket before able to do last min upgrade to business.. add another 4xk miles to Europe.

Yeap, that's the answer. For some reason "O" class tickets can now be topped up to regular fare ones (list of redeemable classes herehttp://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/enri...rich-miles.html). This top up is about 20% more expensive than buying the lowest regular (MH Basic, Smart, Flex) priced fare.

what peeved me off was that I booked a lowest fare ticket (O) KUL to LHR, and bought a MH Basic (about RM700 more) for LHR to KUL as I wanted to use the Qatar Lounge. the flight is in June and the agent is telling me all redemption upgrades are already taken up for LHR to KUL including the standby list. I'm not sure if this is true or not as I'm still able to see availability for full redemption and cash+miles tickets via Enrich portal for my flight dates. 

Why didn't you redeem business straight away instead of upgrade? About the same right? Or is it cheaper to redeem upgrade?

May I know what so special about Qatar Lounge? I assume you are referring to the one in LHR right? So, MH business class can enter Qatar Lounge because of oneworld membership? And, for your KUL to LHR, did you upgrade to business class? Sorry..noob here

dear sifus, if i book a codeshare flight in another OW airline, can it eligible for miles upgrade?
for example i book a flight in CX but it mention "operated by Malaysia Airlines". can i use my enrich miles to upgrade to biz?

Exactly, even before the promo, the lowest Enrich Miles required was also 75,000 one way. It is still 75,000 one way within promo period AND OUTSIDE promo period, which means, there is no change at all.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........either it is a big troll or somewhere there is a mistake and I believe it is the latter...

Success bit for upgrade to biz class will not help in accumulate extra point right ?
