QUOTE(wankf @ Dec 27 2012, 06:57 PM) so far I don't find any different, with load or alone. Only a random "tak" sound when I brake or acceleration now and then. yea, i have the "tak" sound also...but i think it's ok...I think have to tell the service center about the absorber issue in my next service.. QUOTE(wanzalizan @ Dec 29 2012, 03:22 PM) My wife complaining that the front windscreen and in fact almost all screen will be "foggy" and "frosty" everytime raining. Even if it not raining at night, it will still happen. Unlike my conti cars, we normally complaint the reverse 😜 You mean raining while you were driving? normally it happen when ur car internal is hot n outside is cold. Normally i set 25.5,speed fan 1, while i'm driving alone. It doesn't hav that prob. How to overcome this? What is the best fan speed and temperature to maintain as to avoid the situation especially when she's driving alone? |

QUOTE(lkp857 @ Jan 13 2013, 05:22 PM) Guys, finally, got time to document this down ! wow bro, u are the man...u r so brave..for me i won't do this..haha Ok, remember earlier that I find the source of the rattling sound? (DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, I DO NOT responsible for anything that happen to you/your car, just sharing my way to eliminate the rattling sound) Step 1: Finding the source I manage to find the source of the sound from, which when I put my hand on the RED area, the rattling gone. So, I'm very sure it noise is from there. [attachmentid=3259992] Step 2: Prepare your material I got this thing from RM5 shop (Daiso) & you need plenty of courages on next steps. [attachmentid=3260002] Step 3: Dashboard pulling When pull the dash out, careful for the emergency button & wiring connector. Disconnect them carefully) [attachmentid=3260004] [attachmentid=3260005] [attachmentid=3260006] [attachmentid=3260007] Step 4: Apply the sound proofing meterial [attachmentid=3260008] [attachmentid=3260009] [attachmentid=3260010] Finaly Step: Put everything back together again And test your ride !! Hope it works for you as well. |

QUOTE(ieyjj @ Jan 16 2013, 01:07 PM) Thanks for informing. I will make sure they don't put that for me. Is the engine cleaner important? I thought if you got oil filter should be okay. Hi, here you go for the itemize price. I requested them not to put in the wnidow washer as well, he said ok, but at the end, they charge me and told me it's filled. How much is labor? Alignment and balancing, (RM60) full syn oil, (RM209) window washer, (RM2.3) oil filter,(RM30.7) gasket, (RM1.8) petrol inj cleaner (never ask for that, but they did for me, RM41.50) labor. (RM75) |

Compare to my myvi and wira, in that case, bumper sure come outi think the number plate + plate holder + the plate panel on bumper + bumper absorb alot of impact there... |

QUOTE(aragongon @ Jan 31 2013, 12:16 AM) Mex highway is not flat, thus that method can't get high FC. i use Mex highway everyday. Depends on going to cyber or KL. I manage to get around 27km/l also by the same way u drive. Maybe going downhill u drive faster ( maintain around 30km/l). I feel like going to KL way can only get <27km/l.For Mex highway, i managed to get 27km/l during night with aircond. The trick is constant low pedal, slightly above the battery cut off line (need to use Eco Score mode on the screen). Bad thing is during climbing up the hill, sometimes i can get the speed up to 30km/h only. During flat, i can get about 60km/h-80km/h. The journey took 15mins extra compared to 80-100km/h drive. I didn't use Mex often, thus i take it as a training of patience. Can you tahan that kind of speed? |

hmm just now i was trying to tail gate a Audi A4 on MEX, but i found my car was harder to go up 180km/h anymore compare to last time ( 3 months ago). I am using toyota full sync now. I heard engine sound quite loud. Any1 experience on this? Can share you top speed experience?

QUOTE(aragongon @ Feb 1 2013, 12:07 PM) Bravo! With 99hp and torque of 110NM, I don't even think of tail gate a Altis. It will make my FC so bad, then defeat the purpose I spent close to RM100k and getting this small car. hehe haha i personally think that, few months shud test a top speed once. I always aim for high FC oso. |
