what i meant by slow is the pick up. Not 170km/h. Even a myvi can reach 170km/h. No matter how you tweak the ECU, is it still a slow car due the stupid rubber band cvt.
*
O-100km/h in under 11seconds still consider slow pickup ? 😓😓😓, total combine torque of 185nm on Prius c is equal to C segment car . The pickup is fairly tuned to suit it FC saving

185nm is just a figure to cheat you. Go to dyno and see. Well even dyno cannot produce accurate result due to nature of cvt. As I told you before 185nm is the torque from the transaxle, but not the torque to the wheel. CVT dulls out most of the torque available between 20-30%  based on the road inclined level.
*
Ah duii , everyone know dyno and spec not same , pls go dyno a myvi , saga , Vios , city first . Than comment on your slow like turtle , u don't even understand the drive by wire system on HSD , and the character of this HSD System . Drive and enjoy the subsidy fuel don't keep look at your over 25km/L FC . U press untill the end of Eco zone the rpm omly 2.8k rpm Try this on your so called good pickup car than come back comment

Ps:/ HSD is called ecvt it totally different with cvt . Now why they stil called it cvt u need to google and watch YouTube

Well, there's a metal threaded belt in MG1 which is continuously running. Well, if you floor your prius, you will hear the tranaxle creating a loud whinning sound. Which is common in all cvt vehicle.
*
Well , still no rubber band issue , delayed response yes can feel it but simple e thothle gadget can settle the problem , still can outrun most car

There is no belt on prius...

MG1 is motor la, to crank MG2, MG2 i can believe can be start be 12v

Whining is motor sound at MG2 to shaft when on EV

only got timing chain....

the just feel slow bcos of comfort....

the rubber band is just the explanation for people understanding, not the really build

And besides, since u claim Toyota giving fake data, u might as well as them, their test method...

U can claim there and outside people can prove wrong, u can sued for selling bogus items....

If CVT not your cup of tea, shud no buy PC, get something else....

Buy already then complain2, anyway got ppl offer u already ma, sell la....

I also dunno what your problem,

1st say engine, then gearbox, then mg1....since so good, might as well design something better than Toyota, China had claim they built better than Toyota, u can try also....

Good one bro

i don't own OBD-II, assume my battery bar 80% or full. any idea engine shutoff when u let's go accelerator at certain speed. maybe 110-140 going down the hill. i can only feel the engine shutoff when speedometer show 67/77 or EV logo light up. the realtime mileage always max, once i let's go accelerator.
*
Engine shutoff below 70 , won't shutoff when going above it

Thanx for the reply. Good to know that it can last long.

The best way is get a volt meter check ur votlt every months or week . A good battery stand between 12.4-12.7v when park overnight . Once it lower than 11v than prepared to get a new battery

Ok, so something like this?

http://www.lelong.com.my/12v-24v-digital-l...5-03-Sale-P.htm

Is there a well-known/reliable brand for this sort of product?

From what I have googled, there are those that require wiring and those that just plug straight into the cigarette lighter port. I would prefer the cigarette port one (just for the ease of it)
*
Ya those are good enough to check volt . Wiring or cigarette ports all same for wiring type they also tap to cig ports . Remember when want to check press start button once without stepping on brake . That readin will be urs 12v battery

If RM30 different, there is RM120 difference in total. Besides, I really have no idea where to get Ecopia.

Good for you using back RE080, feel any difference between Thailand made and Japan made?
