but lacquer, the finished is quite sticky isnt it? no wonder many prefer acrylics
*
sticky? I havent heard of such thing
and I prefer lacquer wink.gif
maybe not many uses lacquer here because it's rare and hard to find here

I think discussion about painting should end here, we do have a separate thread about painting
I know you might not get much replies there, but rules are rules, and not all would like to see not China Plamo discussions here icon_rolleyes.gif

wow, the thread is progressing nicely. lots of active people. biggrin.gif
nice2.

heres the progress of my sandrock today.

tried Flat topcoat it, and...it didnt turned out that good. the "flatness" can only be seen properly on
colors that are strong like black and such. but u can feel the "rough" surface of the flatness.
and it feels good tongue.gif

i'm quite excited as well but as a student still.. it's hard for me to shell out such a huge amount for one single kit, as awesome as the kit may sound..

however i'm very interested in how the parts are and how they work.. please do take some pictures and do a bit of commenting in the form of a review when you've gotten your kit!

No worry mate, it may turn out to be a bad investment on my part.. Since I have never never build such a big scale model in terms of the parts and size before.. Hopefully it does not need extensive gluing and customising job.. If there is ever a ba*dai 1/100 scale kshatriya I will have never gonna his kit.. too bad they don't and i feel their 1/144 model are too expensive for a HG.

it clearly states that it does not require gluing.. so hopefully it doesn't? i don't think it'll be a bad investment though, so far it's looking pretty good.. besides, i only have the 1/144 HG kshatriya by gaogao and i think that's good enough for me for now laugh.gif

If I remember correctly, that's the grey part? That's supposed to go in before the white armour piece.
