interesting, i'll try it on my zaku btw let me introduce myself, i'm a newbie here, i'm from jakarta, but i'm not a newbie in gunpla, i have about 10 years of experience in gunpla (yes, 10, i'm 13 now, but i started to play when i was an infant ) btw about the battle damage, i have tried to use matches (yeah, it was years ago) , and i've tried the-gun-shaped-thing-that-made-a-hole-on-plastic (sorry, i forgot the name ) to make a bullet hole effects, and i've thinked to use firecrackers, even fireworks, to make a battle damage effect, but i haven't done it yet-fireworks are like fruits, it only come at the season, like new year, at least in indonesia-

btw anybody has a tip on weathering and diorama?

So in case anyone was curious, the SD Genesic GaoGaiGar that is coming out also has a "special edition" version where all the yellow on the kit is gold plated instead.

Well it can't be worse than their 1/100 Nightingale...

interesting.. good thing i haven't POed yet as the yellow was quite the deal breaker

let's not forget the nightingale didn't have an inner frame.. i think more parts might just spell disaster

with the RC previous record..1 must sacrify for great success. so, who wanna try the RC MG Gerbera Tetra? Hahaha, better wait for review from dalong, or china forum first.

I would give it a shot if the price is right, but i'm not paying 100+ dollars for something that has a high possibility of being complete garbage.

This is MG type & RC is expensive kits but quality totally . From the photo, the inner frame look details & tall, so the price...

looking for further review.

anybody knows why daban's newer production's finishing is really glossy? my ARF was great, but my rick dom looks cheap and it annoys me, because in war history, no tanks, cars, and anything else painted really glossy, and i want my gundams to be like that
(yes, i'm a military fan guy)

might have to do with the plastic they use.. it feels like a better quality than what they used for ARF.. but as a result they have this stupid shine to it.. a bit of flat coat will help, i think.. i've yet to try though

maybe you're right, but i think the material used is also polystyrene. actually, i'm kinda scared to use topcoat, if it fails , my kit surely will be messy
anybody got a tip for topcoat?

Before you use it, put the spray can in warm water for 5 minutes so you can avoid it from getting frosty on you when it dries. Also, it's way better to do many thin coats rather than try to completely coat the kit in one shot.
