Gunung Nuang is alot harder and higher than Melawati west/east
i will figure out the way to there...been there once only and didnt finish it

day trip? I been there twice but only reach kem Pacat.

Ya i support Sunday trip, saturday not all able to make it, me too need rush.
After Bukit Tabur only decide on Nuang lar, donno got stamina to up or not also. Newbie here.

been reading blogs about Nuang...it seems kinda tough
need to take about 10 hours to complete (ascending & descending)

To complete, I think you should start at 6.00 am. 8.00 at Kem Lolo, 10.00 at Kem Pacat and 12.00 at summit. Before 2 pm must go back.

You are definitely right. you all should go early, and must make sure no matter can reach the peak or not, you all must return before 2pm!!!!

But can I know y before 2 pm must go back? Is it becoz of the heat? I heard from my friend who went there b4 said they start the climb at 9am and come out at 7pm, is it got few trek trails over there?

I think we can discuss more abt the trip to Nuang during our climb this Sunday, and will post more updates here from time to time.

All below is depend on my speed with full load....
First 90minit is wide 4x4 trail
then u will saw 2 pondok, from the pondok to camp lolo 10-15minit....b4 reach camp lolo u all will saw a small empangan...
from camp lolo to camp pacat 90-100minit
from camp pacat reach peak is about 2.5-3hour
