Hi everyone,

Am really new at HTPC, so need a few quick answers. Planning to built mine this weekend.

1) How do I hook up the soundcard for 5.1 Dolby. I hv an AV receiver that allows input of 5 outlets tat looks like RCA. But soundcard all comes with only a Stereo Headphones output.

2) Graphic Card - is there a HDMI to HDMI output to the TV or must i get a Digital to HDMI cable for this?

Any recommendation for the sound cards, graphic card etc or the whole built? Thanks.

if ur AVR have HDMI connection, will suggest you this idea for your both questions:
Get a graphics card which is come with HDMI or DVI-HDMI convertor or motherboard video build in come with HDMI.
You get Digital Sound out and video both at the same time. better than analog 5.1

Thanks djlah. Slack part is my AVR doesn't have an HDMI input, so i guess i need to resort back to a Sound card that supports Coaxial or Optical for the 5.1 right?
