i have this question in mine for past 1 week and wanted to open a new thread for this HTPC but i wonder how it works.

if u dont mind i just ask 1 simple question, maybe my question will help u out abit too~

let say i plan to get Samsung HT-XQ100 Hifi and want to pair with my Creative Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA ( i used to connect with my logitech Z680) is it possible for interconnection?

I had went to SenQ and others electrical shop to check this Samsung Hi-Fi but i can find any cables that able to plug into my sound card...

Any suggestion brother's?

Thanks alot

yeah i saw creative have those 3.5mm jack to RCA wonder can i get it from lowyat or i have to pre order from creative..

another things is...

using 3.5mm -> RCA to connect Hi-fi is better in terms of sound

OR

just get the computer speaker eg Logitech Z5500 with build in decoder?

Which provide better functionality or sound quality>?

Thanks

Done, by googling for a few hours ....
my 9800 GTX+ DK comes with SPDIF cable where i have no idea what is that...so

manage to get a rough idea how to start from scratch...

Connect my SPDIF cable from onboard motherboard --> VGA...from there set the Bios (default- SPDIF) to HDMI...walla sound it there...deliver through DVI ---> HDMI port.

"BUT" another strange thing is:

1) When using DVI --> Analog. My LCD shows crisp and define Text form the words.

2) When using DVI --> HDMI. The words not as defined as using Analog input. The text looks kind of wired. I mean not as define as it used to be.

I really hope u guys understand what i mean.

Anyone overcome this problem?

Thanks

Is a 32LG53FR (Full HD)

This LCD 32 inch TV has 4 speakers (output of 200 watts). It has 100 programs or channels with features like PIP (1 Tuner), auto-off, auto sound leveler and OSD. It has 30000:1 Dynamic contrast ratio, brightness of 500 cd/m2 and Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has aspect ratio of 16:9 Wide Screen format. It has S-video input, 2 component inputs, PC input and 3 HDMI Inputs (ver 1.3). It comes with 5 ms of response time and viewing angle of 178 degree.

Need some input please so i can enjoy the benefits of using 1080p via HDMI cable.

Where i still have problems with text distortion/display dirtorted under HDMI input from CPU

Tried using DVI ---adapter --> RGB tested with excelent PQ with no text distorted
Tried using DVI ---adapter--> HDMI tested with test distorted but movies okie

3RCA did not test coz the cable provided in the box is not long enough.

tweek the refresh rate/ resolution settings to lower size looks ugly with big icons/ downloaded latest driver no luck too

Need some feedback so i could enjoy the benefits of using 1080p via HDMI cable.

Thanks alot.

Hi alifbata_abc,

Thanks for helping, well...my LCD is set to "Just Scan" all the time but i cant seem to find "Noise Reduction" (LCD?) under Advanced control.

If im not mistaken there's a "Noise Reduction" under the LCD function but is "Grayed Out" (cannot choose)
