since certain AVR can do better decoding than certain pc sound card. why we still getting duplicate functionality.
meant I don't really need to buy a decent additional sound card.

BTW, can you share more with me about Foobar2k ? never use before    where to download? (will study your thread in http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/800211)

what's I try before is my previous old creative sound card have a function:
(a) use internal decoder
(b) bypass and use external decoder

but those function not found in my build in audio
