Im building my first HTPC soon below is the spec in my mind

GA-G31M-S2L
Seagate Sata3 320GB
Intel E2180
2 X 1 GB Ram
DVD Writer Asus SATA

Is my spec able to play HD video ? 720P/1080P , havent decide wat sound goin to buy please give some comment and advise

that's why i like to ask my question in LYN so many sifu can give me suggestion
if i change my intel board to amd board then what proc is better ? i use this htpc for play video and BT only so dun need very powerful proc

Anybody face this problem before ?
when i connect my htpc to my 32" LCD Tv it seem like not able to fully display the screen .
the left edge still got a little cannot display . i set my resolution to 1360 x 768
please help guys

so there is no way i cannot display the whole screen on my lcd tv ?
how about i use HDMI will it any different ?

Hey all, i just bought acer revo on last pc fair but it doesn't have optical output but HDMI.
And i want to use the HDMI output to my LCD TV but i dun want to use LCD's speaker.
Anyone know how can i connect to my home theather?

the problem is my LCD don't have optical output
