guys im planing to build a HTPC pc for only watch movie purpose.
so can u guys recomend me which mobo is good for watching blueray ripped (MKV) file and can go to 1080p ? im planing to use media portal so what are the good remote to use with media portal ?

mainly i need to use to watch downlaoded Blueray stuff, and isit posible to watch internet tv if i have net connection? because me planin to connect this htpc to my 32' LCD tv

I just install media portal, kinda nice program, but now wanted to install meedios and xmbc, compare which is more better. Cosmicmeadow do u use any remote control for media portal?

too bad i dont own a ps3 or ps3 remote. alternatively need to find some other remote . wonder is there any bluetooth base remote for pc ?

guys i need some help here, i connect my old pc Pentium 2.8 ,512mb ddr2, 256mb ati X550 pcie graphic. since the pc doesnt have hdmi, i connect thru vga, but under my 32' lcd tv the display is like having some noise, like some electric surge, i tried to set the frequency, still no help. can some1 guide me whats wrong over here,

and the ati card have dvi output, if i buy hdmi converter will it improve the display?

ANY1? can help with my problem?

SO u guys sayin it might be my cable problem.. okie ' i will try to change vga cable to dvi and see

when i connect my lappy to lcd via hdmi its workin fine.

at the moment i don have any plan to upgrade

guys im planin to get a remote for HTPC , wonderin which remote are the best to buy . looking below RM150.00 cos not afford for those harmony type . and must be compatible with Media Portal . any suggestion?

Now im on dilema which Os to put on my system, im not goin to use MCE for play back.. gona use MediaPortal
so for above spec should i go for Winxp Pro or Vista Ultimate ? i wan my system to boot faster and problem free

now need to get speakers, since at the moment only depands sound from tv, guys those wireless speaker cheapest how much can get huh?

hi guys, need some tips here, im having a slim htpc on living room where it can connect max up to 1 3.5' hdd only, since my hdd is full im planin to set another server where i can storage more movies, and my question is, isit advisable using wireless to watch movies from living room, since i will watch all HD movies which stored in server. worried the movies might be lag??

guys, any1 using the ps3 BD remote for their HTPC? im curently using one.. but i have the problem where the batery dry so fast. anyway to fix this problem?
