where can i get it? and how much..
because those that i saw in the computer shop are plain crap..
especially a particular one where they just stick 2 fans onto a piece of aluminium and
sell it to you for few hundred bucks.

Vantec is really cool and pro ..i think. US products, love it. check it out.

Anyway LPC-305 model looks good as its also a 4 port USB 2.0 Hub...

It will help a bit if you run your lappie for days and have a cooler IMO.
Too hot and the internal components might get affected as well as the housing of your lappie....

actually ... do we really really need a lappie cooler? i feel tat it cost a fortune...

No i doesnt cost a fortune.A cheap one with average speed and quality will only cost RM50.
Its not going to cost us fortune like RM500?

Anyway,its good and better to have a laptop cooler as it will cool down the laptop and prevents the parts from getting 'burned'.

oooo 50 bucks can get a lappie cooler already ??? the one which is powered by the USB one rite? maybe should learn how to make 1 so can save money ...

Some of the guys here already made a few versions of the lappie cooler. They're really impressive and you can put whatever fan size you want.....

Yeah the cheapest I found was in PC-Fair going for around RM50(Last Unit). Has 3 fans but made of plastic.....
