I changed from prepaid to post paid last week n they gave me a new sim. Do i still have to change to a new sim to get LTE signal?

Went to sunway pyramid today to change to lte sim. Unfortunately they said the offer has been temporarily put on hold coz there're some complain regarding the so-called stability of the sim or something. So no change of 4g sim atm. 😩

The other day i went to sunway blue cube and they say they cant issue 4g sim at the moment. When i asked bout menara celcom the said the same. Didnt know u can just activate lte using current 3g sim 😩
