After sticking my old nano sim into my new iPhone, a prompt appeared telling me that there is a network update for the iPhone, and after the update, the LTE option appeared.

No, I didn't change my nano sim, and the iOS of the phone was 6.1.2.

Unfortunately, Seremban don't have LTE yet, so am unable to test if I can surf LTE using the old sim.

Yesterday I go to blue cube at sunway piramid, the celcom guy told me the nano sim must be change to new 4G LTE to received the LTE signal. Old nano sim only can receive 3G signal eventhough the carrier already update to verson 14.1. However the LTE coverage is limited at certain area at klang valley only for time being.

The sim can be change for free if you are celcom user more than 6 months. The new sim has a label 4G LTE, I already change ot yesterday. It only take about 10 to 20 minutes to receive the phone signal after you change the new sim.

try is not an option lah...later waste time, petrol and parking fee hahaha.......but if CONFIRMED can then why not....waiting from my friend in celcom to help out see if she can extend an invitation to me....

Bro, IMO you can go to change the sim card, only not for free since you are new Celcom user (not more than 6 month)s. Celcom will charge you about RM5 add into your bil for the new sim card change. No need the invitation, I do not received any invitation from celcom also. i just go to the blue cube sunway piramid and ask them to change my nano sim to 4G LTE nano sim.

Eh, we can still go to Blue Cube Sunway Pyramid or Menara Celcom to change the LTE SIM right now?! Does anyone know about this? Want to confirm.  smile.gif

FYI, I do not receive any invitation from celcom and I did changed the new 4G LTE nano Sim at Blue Cube Sunway pyramid. After that only my phone can receive LTE signal. Before I cahnge the sim, I only got 3G even though I have update the carrier to CELCOM 14.1 and at Sunway Pyramid area (where's the LTE signal is available).
